Clothes. I've mainly been getting them at thrift stores of late, but I usually get a lot at one time.

Magazines.

Can you tell I am trying to spread my stuff out so I do not have a freaking laundry list of guilty pleasure spending.

Gasoline for my car
I could take transit, but the bus system here is pathetic.

Safeway and Tall Grass Prairie Bakery
I could shop more often at SuperStore, but I'd have to go at 7am (earlier on weekends). I may have to start grocery shopping at Walmart (shudder).

Electronics
Laptop, desktop, 2 tablets all purchased within 12 months. Except for getting a new cell phone, I think I'm okay for the next couple years.

Manicures/pedicures
Once I find the right salon, I'll be doing these monthly.

Storage containers
I've been inspired by organization gurus on Youtube to declutter and organize.

Really nothing.

Though some people would probably say my groceries and toiletries. I am very particular about ingredients in foods I buy, if it's not a fresh unprocessed item though the bulk of my groceries are not processed and organic or farm fresh. I also read all ingredients in my toiletries and don't buy typical drugstore brands because I don't want those ingredients on my body (teeth, hair, skin, etc).

nothing in excess really.

I do have a lot of purses, but I don't buy them so often anymore.

I buy clothes for myself occasionally, but I keep things for 10+ years as long as their in good shape.

I probably spend most money on toiletries and makeup. Hair treatments, face stuff, eye cream, makeup, and I get my nails done.

And I buy a lot of books.

I can't believe you all are considering these things GUILTY PLEASURES. Books? Healthy food? Clothing (flip flops, even?????)?

I was expecting to read stuff like: cocaine, male prostitutes, Cuban cigars, vitamins made from ground up Chinese babies, the high roller table at the Sands, etc

Brace yourselves, what I'm about to reveal may be a tad too rebellious for some.

I totally didn't need it, but I spent way too much money on a quilt. I know, I know...it's dangerous and sexy, but try to contain your shock.

I've been wanting a quilt for the bed to switch out to for summer from our heavy duvet for years and just couldn't bring myself to spend the money.

I may have to try and find a male prostitute that is smoking a Cuban cigar while snorting cocaine all while making vitamins from ground up Chinese babies. More bang for the buck!

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

There is no guilt in this. Think of what you'd spend if you bought the same amount from a cafe every single day. You're saving money!

I'll take "Horses who are WAY out of my price range" for A Whole Lot of Money, Alex!

This is the 2006 dark bay who actually looks nearly identical to my horse if you don't see him in motion? I'm pretty sure that would be WAY beyond what I can afford!

Thus the trip to see a talented two year old and ride siblings. (She's a year in that pic, though.)

Books, books, and more books. I easily buy 15-20 a month, often more, and usually get them read in that time. Even if i dont get to them I keep buying more. I buy them in hardcover when available, but also buy plenty of paperbacks and ebooks. I also buy protective covers for every o e of them, including the paperbacks. It's a bit of an obsession.

I'm with Nallia. I spend the most money on books.

I have no problem dropping large amounts of money on clothing. Most of my items are over 200. I guess this is why I would consider it a guilty pleasure.

nail polish...but, like, to a ridiculous extent. I've been trying to stay out of the nail polish thread because of the nail polish lust it incites in me. Not only do I buy expensive nail polish, I buy lots of cheap nail polish too. Ridiculous!

I buy lots of e-books (it's just so easy. one click, and bam! instant gratification! if clothes worked like this, I would shop so much more), but I wouldn't consider that a guilty pleasure.
