Default What bores you that others seem to enjoy?

Others seem to enjoy it but I am bored by:

Manis & pedis

Massage

Discussion of finance, stocks, bonds, depreciation, amortization... Please, shoot me.

All those games on Facebook. Farmville, etc.

Watching sports. Namely, football.

Soap operas.

Every single "reality" competition show, from American Idol to The Voice.

Nightclubs, bars, Starbucks, technology, video games, most music, politics, government, Facebook, body image, and some others I can't think of...

ETA

Thought of some more:

Twilight and most other movies, television shows, anime, and knitting.

A lot of stuff on TV (but especially most reality TV)
Football
Opera and classical music (I know a lot of people don't like either of these and consider them dull but I have friends who enjoy it. They know never to invite me to these events.)
NASCAR
Golf

There are probably other things but these come to mind right now.

I'm not sure I'd say most people find any of those interesting - for me, I just like the results, personally!

Football. I get so sick of it.

The Kardashians (and really nearly all "reality" shows).

- Sports in general
- Dave Matthews Band
- Night clubs
- Gossip (usually...I suppose it depends on the gossip)
- Celebrities' personal lives
- Farrelly brothers
- Sex and The City
- Female friends trying to engage me in conversations not unlike the ones in Sex & The City
- When what was supposed to be a simple exchange of platitudes on the weather or food becomes an extended conversation (or monologue, really, because at this point my mind tunes out while I just nod, smile and stare at the other person)

The Star Wars movies -- ALL the episodes. I appreciate that they're well done and all, but I am just SOOOOO not into any of it.

Ya, my poor kids want to be the cool kids involved in everything and I'm like nooooo, I can't!

I do a lot for their birthdays, but its family only birthdays. I will not do the crazy, all inclusive parties at Pump it Up or Chuck E Cheese.

I can definitely agree with others on the whole Facebook & twitter thing. Fishing, Jersey Shore, only shoe shopping (unless online). And probably a lot of other stuff I can't really think of right now.

well, based on just what my mother finds interesting...
-House "shopping"
-Granite browsing (I thought I was going to die when we replaced our counter tops. Granite shopping OUTSIDE in Arizona?! noooooo....)
-Generally anything to do with Home Depot/Lowe's/renovating houses
-Being touristy in Mexico. I've seen/done it all and it's hot/dusty

Casinos, nightclubs, pro basketball on tv, endlessly watching YouTube, celebrity gossip, ocean beaches (generally)

I do like cards and poker with friends, dancing, coaching or seeing live sporting events, certain clips and vloggers, knowing about where and what people I'm a fan of are, going to the beach with people and doing things like kites, volleyball, frisbee, swim...

So it's all about execution.
