Frame damaged is usually means the car is totaled. I'll check with my hubby later for you (he's a mechanic)
and on another note, Im glad your insurance is paying for it. Last "accident" I was in someone hit my car while I was babysitting my dad. determining fault was never the problem, it was her insurance company. they came to look at the damage, and the insurance guy flat out lied, he refused to pay for a new side panel (the part damaged), claiming we could just mud it up, and that our side panels were so rusted out that he could put his fist through it which was a flat out lie we had no rust on our car, think he saw we had an older car ('85 cutlass) and thought it was a worthless car and he could get away with it. Little did he know we come from a long line of mechanics/racers and happen to be family friends with an owner of a large used car dealership who was more then happy to get his lawyers invovled.
