There's some good music listed here. I'm highly impressed with LadyV and Juanab's lists, among many many others.

Worn out iPhone. Need I say more?
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

First concert: third grade (mid 80's) saw Kenny Rogers and Garth Brooks was the first opener, it was before he got really big. Eddie Rabbit was in the middle. Yeah I know, but I was raised on a mix of country and classic rock. Still forms my base of loves.

Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings (got to meet her, so awesome!)
Gogol Bordello
Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue
Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds
Flogging Molly
Foxy Shazam
The English Beat

Past shows:

Ricky Skaggs

Queen, Ween, Florence and the Machine.

My oldest nephews saw Tom Jones in Vegas when they were small. They said, "he would sing- what's new *****cat whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa- and old women would throw their panties on the stage". Lol. The look on their faces while telling me this story was priceless.

I wish I could like posts from this phone. So many of you have seen people I would love to see, or see again.

How about more details for those of us who can't list all our shows?

Best concert ever, or maybe top few? Best single song experience?

Best concert ever for me was in a lousy venue (theater on U of A campus) and I was second row from the top of the building. Full of people who were getting Senior discounts. But The Chieftains simply blew the energy of the room to a level most of the folks there didn't know could exist.
Second best was Jamie Cullum and third was Ozomatli for the same reason - they were so high energy in a packed room you couldn't stand still but simply HAD to dance. Amos Lee's Artist's Den show was way up there, too.

The best single song experience was in the conference of a local radio station in studio C - Carbon Leaf performing the song Paloma. It was so gorgeous we all just kind of sat there stunned and forgot to clap until someone said "Wow." Then we all laughed a little and clapped, but the beauty of the song pretty much hypnotized us all. Second was an Ani DiFranco concert encore at the Orpheum in Boston. I was sitting between a bunch of a capella guys who had been singing together all through college and she did When Doves Cry. The combination of sound as she sang it and they sang along, automatically harmonizing with each other was really awesome.
The pews never miss a sermon but that doesn't get them one step closer to Heaven.

But at least the pews never attend yoga!
