Burger Help!
Ok my lovely meat eating curlies...need some help!!!
My Moms birthday is next weekend and my Dad is doing a corn roast for it. He decided he wanted to do sliders with lots of different toppings instead of just regular burgers.
My Mom doesn't know about the party, so I told him I would take care of the toppings and bring them up.
So this is where I need a little help! What fun things would you like on burgers? Assuming people will probably eat 3-4 each (sound right?) I thought it would be fun to have lots of stuff so they can really mix it up 
So Far (let me know if these sound awful)
Cheddar
Blue Cheese
Brie/Camembert maybe?
Grilled pineapple
Bruchetta mix
Garlic Mayo
Dill and sweet pickles
Sauteed onions
Guacamole

I was just on the phone with my brother and he said the same thing about bacon!
We're doing an Angus beef and a chicken burger. Would cranberry work with the chicken?

i have to make a pitch for my favourite relish - Bick's Onion Relish.
and we got some Bacon Marmalade at Loblaw's for this weekend which was *amazing* on burgers!

I think grilled pineapple is yummy with turkey burgers.
My fav burger is turkey mixed with feta, spinach, and a grill seasoning mix. Oh Humina!

Rou - that bacon marmalade was not the easiest to find!!! I scoured the burger section and the specialty section....nada. Finally found it with the other condiments.
Will report back how it goes over!
As an aside, they had a blackberry syrup on clearance in the pop up specialty booth thingy over by the meats. Picked that up and will keep an eye put over the next few weeks if they clear that stuff out. Some really fun chutney flavours!

Oh, and I made a roasted pineapple chutney that is to die for!!!! I was meeting friends for drinks later last night and took a small thing of it for her to try. Her and her husband ate it all right from the container

I have nothing to add except to say that it sounds like a fun party. Great way to meet the needs of a wide range of tastes. I'd have fun laying everything out...by color? by taste? alphabetically?

No recipe, but was super easy!
I brushed a bunch of pineapple rings with olive oil & garlic, a little fresh rosemary, then sprinkled liberally with salt & pepper and broiled. About 5 minutes, then flipped them.
I warmed about 1/2 cup orange marmalade till it was pretty liquidy, then broke up the pineapple and added it. Let it simmer on the stove for about 10 minutes, then cooled.
I think it would be really good baked on Camembert!
