I'm a bit of a freak of girly nature. lol I didn't even bother carrying a purse at all until a few years ago, though I always had a few. Until I had kids, I was perfectly happy putting my bank card, drivers license, money, phone, and a lipgloss/lipstick in my pockets. Then I had to carry a diaper bag with me everywhere and used that for my wallet and other things. I retired the diaper bags as soon as I could because I hated those huge things and got a big (for me) purse that would carry what I needed for the kids and myself. Now I usually carry a small purse and that's it. It took forever for me to get used to it and not forget it everywhere!

I usually carry a medium to large size purse and find it is so heavy. But I'm not a fan of small purses so I refuse to downsize. I'm shocked bacause I thought I was a minimalist compared to some of the lists here but after looking, I have a lot of crap. Today I have:

I'm carrying a very small purse right now. Contents:
- tiny wallet (room for money, ID and a few cards)
- cell phone
- four(!) lip glosses
- ear plugs (SO plays in a rock band)
- tampon
- Tic Tacs
- reading glasses
- small tube of sunscreen
- pen
- keys usually stay on a hook by the door but go in purse when I leave the house.

At the moment it's just packing an empty glasses case.

I tend to put my sunglasses (unless I need them from the onset), my cell phone, some money, a hair tie and tinted lip balm in it before going out, and then put that stuff back when I get home.
