I thought that was a stupid decision. That girl (don't remember her name either) must have been talking up a storm although they didn't show it.
I'm rooting for her too and I'm glad she's starting to open up more.
I don't know if it's editing or she really took a blow from Crazy-Abi's antics and then the clue being left out. She really didn't know what to do/think when that happened.
It looked to me like she was going for Dawson's throat in that play.

THAT is exactly what I thought, that she was playing dirty, so when I heard her saying that about Dawson, well, it just made her even more crazytrain in my head - she just isn't LIKEABLE.

I like when Jeff points out stuff that he thinks they might have not noticed. If you have only been in 2 challenged your team does not need you. And I thought the same thing-she went after the other girl first. I kept yelling for someone to kick the thing. Everyone was looking at people's arms.

Survivor: Philippines - Sarah Dawson Talks About Kissing Jeff Probst : People.com
"And then you kissed Jeff Probst after you were voted out!
I like Jeff Probst a lot. I'm a big fan. He's a great host, and he's cute. And I just thought, 'Well, it can't hurt me now. I'm going to give him a hug and a kiss.' No one else has ever done that! "

about this time every season, I ask myself "why am I watching this again?" - I feel the mid-show slump and get a bit bored - and I also know that now that I've started watching I'll have to see it through to the end. This season's hook was Lisa Whelchel and I'm so proud of her this week - she totally worked hard in both challenges and I was a little annoyed that Jeff didn't comment on what a great job she did slinging those balls to Malcolm (that phrasing is a bit off, but it's making me giggle).
What's up with the blond guy who is a "track coach" - he looked and sounded stoned out of his mind every single time they showed him - and then he asked Penner if that is who he was voting for! shaking my head. Can't believe Penner is still in it, I was sure they were going to make the move to get rid of him.
Abi - I try really hard to find something likable about people, but I'm really struggling trying to find something about her
I'm glad RC is getting her mind back in the game.
I'm hoping that Malcolm isn't leading Lisa on in the previews for next week.
Has anyone else noticed how short the episodes are? with the "previously on survivor bit at the beginning" (that really is too long), the commercials, etc - and my DVR showed tribal ending at 54 minutes. then several minutes of commercials then the exit interview and previews. Surely they could find another 5 minutes of drama per episode for us.

I've been very proud of Lisa during the challenges. She works her butt off. I was surprised she was able to keep Denise pinned. I thought for sure Denise would be able to get out of it easily, she's such a little bundle of muscle.
I was surprised they actually voted Katie and not Penner but she really was dead weight anyway.
OMG Abi. So the SO walked into the room when she showed her cray-cray again. I told him she was bat-isht, he just laughed. Glad RC is getting her head back in!

Once again Jeff pointed out how little Abi is doing. If that tribe ever goes to counsel she should be punted off the tribe. It looks like they are changing islands next week??? All the people who have hidden their idols are scrambling. I am glad they did not vote Denise off. I came in late last night so I must have missed some crazy. Darn it.

I don't like Pete (is that is name??)
I don't like Abi (not that this is news)
I am so proud of Lisa!!! I'm really, really cheering for her - did you happen to see her on The Jeff Probst Show this week? she was great, so positive. I want her to WIN BIG, or at least make final 3, I think she could do it.
Malcolm is less likable to me now he's been away from Denise a bit - before I thought he was sweet but now I see manipulation (of course, I understand it's all part of the game)
Am really surprised RC got cut - but I did finally feel like we were watching Survivor last night, I really had NO idea going into tribal who was voting with who or for who - and I love that kind of voting situation. Penner's days are numbered - and I think that they are silly (they being him and Skupin (is that right?)) to not realize that they have huge targets and start playing as "I can help you out" and not as if they are in charge of any real numbers themselves. I think if they humbled themselves a bit and asked "how can I stay longer" then maybe people might want to work with them, but promising to bring a block of votes just confirms you need to go if you have that much influence.
I also don't like ex-baseball man. He's too arrogant for me
and wow, I sound really negative in my thoughts here LOL
I would like Denise and Lisa in the final 3 not sure with who.

I don't like Pete and Abi either. I wonder how Abi is feeling watching the show and realizing RC didn't do anything to her, that it was all Pete. I would love to see Pete blindsided. The look on Abi's face would be priceless.
I thought Malcolm made a valid point last night when he said he was in an alliance with the two people who might be hard to beat at the end. I think because Denise and Lisa are both such strong competitors he wouldn't be able to say they rode his coattails. I think Jeff (Kent) made a bad play last night by siding with the other team. The other team outnumbers what's left of his old tribe and unless they win all the immunities will probably get picked off.

I am not a fan of the baseball guy either....he is arrogant. Abi is annoying. I like Lisa, Denise and I am still ok with Malcolm. Anyone else notice they seem to have much less 'physical' challenges lately? They all have of clothes, and a lot more food too. I think they have really changed the show/game by those things being better. I realize they are not great but compared to the 1st 5-6 seasons-totally different.

I was thinking this when I was watching Lisa put all the clothes out - remember "back in the day" when they could bring ONE comfort item? and they had one pair of shoes or whatever (maybe they had 2?) I seem to recall it was a "what you have on" kind of thing, you didn't get a bag full of stuff. And I don't think they gave them food the first few seasons, either, did they? Or a source of water like they have now (didn't they have to find a stream or something?) Remember they brought them a scale in season 2(?) Australian Outback and they had all lost a BUNCH of weight, they had NOTHING and they got rained on so badly - I look at the camps now and think they have it much easier than it was then (but in no way do they have it "easy")
I know a couple of people got really sick during the first few seasons (I seem to remember someone with lots of bites and coming back with internal parasites and stuff) - maybe they have had to make these changes.

I've noticed the past couple of seasons they've obviously been giving the teams clothing (usually swimwear) that fits after they've lost weight. I was looking at Lisa when I watched it last night and wondered when they were going to do that again because her swimtop(?) is way too big now. Maybe it's at the halfway point, IDK.
That episode was a mess. It sucks that RC got booted because of it. I wonder if Abi will be as cray-cray now. Hopefully a few people are putting 2 & 2 together and coming up with Pete.

the original survivors actually had to find food and yes, everyone turned to skin and bones by the time the show ended. although, it seemed that jerri looked better and better as survivor australia progressed.
i swear the show shaves and waxes the women. no one ever has underarm, leg or pubic hair.
i'm enjoying this season.

researched the question about the women being able to shave and found the same quotes from probst stating that the women do not shave. he says they probably wax or get laser surgery and by day 25 the women do get hairy but the viewers perhaps can't tell.
a suvivor cameraman is interviewed:
i'm still skeptical. i believe having sexy hot women on the show keeps male viewers and i think they shave the women.

I am skeptical too. Even if I waxed my armpits they would not last 25 days. And not shampooing as we all now can have a break-in period where it sure does not look good.

Me too. The dark haired women would show pretty easily. I call BS.

was it last season (or the one before) when the girl grew in a pretty dark mustache? (I googled, it was Kim from last season)
It seems some girls do get hairy while others don't - but I can't imagine going that long - I shave daily and if I don't I look like a hedgehog LOL
They say no personal care items - what about contact lens solution? obviously they have to allow something for that because lots of them wear contacts

Ummmm, what the hell just happened? Jeff said tonight's tribal council might have been the biggest missed opportunity in Survival history. Missed opportunity? For who?
I'm glad smug Jeff was sent packing. I didn't like that guy. But his exit interview was hilarious!

I think he was getting at you have two people who just admitted to having and showed their immunity idols and you didn't get rid of either. Up till last week, I kind of liked Jeff. Then when he put more emphasis on getting rid of Penner because he had been on Survivor before over making the "right" or "best" move he lost me.
I am almost hoping that Penner wins. Wouldn't that be an upset.
Lisa had the best strategy last night to get rid of Malcolm. He is too likable. Pete blew that opportunity big time. I do like Malcolm better than Pete, but that said, it was a good time to blind side him.
