I think she looks fine. She's in her 50s, after all, and she wears a lot of makeup on stage.

Well she isn't what I'd deem traditionally attractive but...
a. She looks a good deal younger than her 51 years.
b. I applaud her for going out looking less-than-perfectly done up; and
c. Her boyfriend is young and pretty cute. Go Kathy!

I wouldn't mind looking like this at 50.
I think she has been very forthcoming that she overdid it with the plastic surgery. The other photo provided is certainly not a flattering one. I would hate to be photographed exercising. I would look awful.

Other than her thick legs (which she can't really help), she doesn't look bad. I don't see the big deal. I think she has bad enough self image issues. She's not wearing layers of stage makeup, so ya, she looks a little bland.
