It didn't. He said it THE SAME DAY in the Rose Garden during a press conference apparently.

Romney looked like a big AXXHXXX. Because Candy corrected him, and then the crowd applauded the correction. Obama asked her to say the truth louder. More applause.

It was. I have a head ache.

I noticed Mitt keeps taking about how the "share" the wealthy pay won't change. He's a tricky old fart. Ex: If the wealthy pay 60% of $10 now, under Mitt they would pay 60% of $9. Which will be less. A tax cut.
