SPIDERS?

anything. as long as I don't have to leave my house, which I fear I will because this is the worst pain of my life. EVER. it feels like someone is cutting into my chest. Am I dying?

Is this real life??
Dang I can't think of any home remedies.

But for future reference IF you get it again, try AcidEase pills. They are awesome.

someone told me apple cide vinegar, which mine is probably ancient because I never used it...until now, I just chugged a lot and want to up chuck. It still hurts. Apparently laying down is also bad so I'll sleep sitting up? If I can sleep because I can't because it hurts.

I'm going to look in my drawers for expired pepto, hopefully that helps.
Do you have any baking soda? Mix it with water and drink it down. It's like alka seltzer.

Yeah, I googled and found the baking soda tip too: Dr. Wolf, author of A Woman's Guide to a Healthy Stomach, recommends mixing between 1/2 and 1 teaspoon of baking soda with a glass of water. But avoid making baking soda your go-to remedy if you regularly have heartburn—it is high in salt and could cause side effects like swelling and nausea.

Do you have a fever or feel sick. I once posted about heartburn/indigestion and it turned out being appendicitis.

um hello?

Are you sure it's heartburn? If it's as bad as you say, shouldn't you be on your way to the ER?

I called my mom, which means I was about to go to the ER, because I would never call her this late at night unless I was dying.

But I think I have lived. So....
spoke too soon. Guess I will be staying up all night. Not as back breakingly painful as before. Because I was almost looking like the girl in the exorcism when she did those back bends down the steps, bending from pain.
Please go to the ER.

Unless you have experienced heartburn like this before and know that's what it is please go.

No I'm fine.

Thanks for your concern.

I still don't know what it was, but I think I was eating a lot. of food because I was crazy and in a binge LOL, and I think that's what caused it
Glad to hear you are OK!

My husband has horrible heartburn. He found the magic pill...generic equate. Called Omeprazole. Works like a charm. Can find it at Wal-mart. Works better than any expensive heartburn medicine.

Glad to hear you are okay.

Not as bad, but I'd rather do something now until it gets worse. ahhh.
Yeah, you have to watch those expensive or Dr. prescribed heart burn meds. I never had heart burn until my early 30's, and thought I might die the first time I had it. Same stabbing pain, and it was radiating into my jaws. After a few times of that I spoke with my doc, he gave me an Rx, and I started getting heart burn every single day. After I went off the medication it became rare. I just buy some cheap stuff and use when need be.

Nip it in the bud!! And feel better.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

I thought you should go to the ER because unless you KNOW it's heartburn it could be anything. My dad thought he had HB, but was in the middle of a major heart attack, another friend had acute appendicitis and almost died.

Feel better, and be careful
I've suffered several attacks over the years and just found out recently they are gall bladder related. It could be you have gall bladder issues.. it's horribly painful and goes on for hours.. seriously just as painful as labour pains!

I'd much rather have a baby!
Yes, if it continues, please go to the ER.
