Same here. I know reddit is like this, someone posted about reddit allowing effed up stuff on there site before, cant remember who.
Its sick that this is not illegal. If i post a picture of my 10 year old niece to my fb page, i dont wnat some creepo using it for some nasty sob's to wack off to. That is not trolling. its making innocent pictures into porn. this man is sick and i cant believe he has supporters. i'm sure they are just like him.

What pissed you off, Reddit or Gawker outing Violentacrez?
I've been reading up on this the past couple of days, and I'm still not exactly sure where I ultimately stand. I'm really uncomfortable with vigilantism overall, and this type of internet outing makes me nervous when I think about how easy it is for an innocent person to get targeted. On the other hand, Violentacrez's defense of creepers is unconscionable, especially the cases of teachers posting pictures of students, and considering how he loved to state that there's no privacy on the internet as a defense...well, I'm not wasting any sympathy on him.
Popehat has a couple of good posts on this.

First it made me angry, then it made me tired. It's not just this one guy but everything is just so ugly and mean. All these people were ok with all the crap being flung around those forums, but when a MAN might get called out on it - oh no! This is bad! This crosses a line!
Ugh. Just ugh. I have to raise a kid in this crap.

I guess I'm just pissed that apparently there are people who fully expect to have their right to exploit women and children protected. I mean, we can't figure out how to keep our kids' pictures from ending up on some pervs site, but we will protect the perv. People will back a guy who devotes a forum to perving on pics of dead children, his right to do that is somehow more important than showing any respect for those kids or their families.
Also, we keep wondering, what can we do about all the pervs? Where do we start? How about not protecting them? That seems a good place.
WTF.

I don't have a problem with this. Violentacrez has the legal right to post creepshots. People have the legal right to reveal his identity using publicly available information. And less drastic attempts to pressure Reddit to stop sexually exploiting girls and women have failed.

Totally agree. Free speech goes both ways. So does "it's not illegal so you can't make me stop." If you are going to use those things as a cover for being a hateful d-bag to others, then don't go whining and crying when someone does it back to you.
The internet (and the supposed anonymity) really does bring out the worst
of humanity. And I think the best way to fight it is to talk about it openly and to out and shame trolls when necessary.

I know its that whole freedom to be a d*** thing, but how can reddit allow them to put the things they put online. Dont they have children? Are any of them women? Do they have mothers, wives, girlfriends, daughters? Are any of them minorities? I get freedom of speech, but freedom of disrespect? How can this be allowed?
I feel people like him think its ok to say/show racist, homophobic, misogynistic, hateful things, becaue he is not a minority, gay, female, or child. He is a white male in a white male dominated world, where these things does not effect him. he is careless and hurtful and lacks any empathy. so why should anyone show him any? he should be outed and screw his job, i hope they fire him.

The thing about his free speech is this;
You have the right to say whatever you want, BUT no one is bound to protect you from the consequences of what you say (or post).
You want free speech? Put on your big boy boxers (or tighty whities) and accept the consequences.
