Your First Vote?

What was the first (national/state/county/country/precinct/etc) election you voted in?

Do you remember the outcome of the election?

1996, Bill Clinton. I was 17 and a half during the 1992 election.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

I turned 18 Sept 1992, had my voter card with two weeks of that.

Clinton won

I can't remember it was so long ago (35 years or so?). But I've voted in every primary and general election since. And I've worked on dozens of campaigns from school board to president and everything in between.

1992 - I voted for Bill Clinton, for his first run. And he won.
3b (with 3c tendencies) on modified CG

1980. I was 18. I voted for Ronald Reagan. I did...I'm sorry.

And, to add insult to injury...I voted for him again in 1984.

What can I say...I was young and stoopid...

1983 UK general election. I voted Liberal/SDP. Conservatives under Maggie Thatcher won
3b in South Australia.
In 2000 I voted Gore. In South Florida. Confusing hole punch ballot.

After trying to stay awake all night I still didn't know who won. Weeks later Gore conceded.

I will repeat tho that I vote every election, not just presidential years, because local politics is much more important to us than many people think.

2000 election. I voted for Bush. My political outlook has changed somewhat since then.
Hmmm, I don't know if I voted in 2000 or not--if I did it was absentee ballot while I was out-of-state at college, I think.

2004 I voted for Kerry, and remember having to go find the place to vote...there was a big huge line, and I had forgot to bring some kind of proof of residence I needed, so I had to go home (walk/public transit) and then come back later. It was a big disaster. And 2008 I voted for Obama, and things went much smoother then, in more ways than one! I also remember voting at a different location between those, so I'm sure I voted for some other elections besides president.
