That's if the zombies don't figure out how to swim!

They can't drown, and in some movies they figured out how to just walk across the bottom of the body of water until they find land again!

I love the 'rules' in Zombieland.

You absolutely can not perform roundhouse kicks to a zombie's head while wearing cargo pants. I'm not making that up. That's like science.

We have friends bringing barbwire, explosives, and booby traps. Lol. We spent many drunken hours coming up with a plan.

It's handy having redneck friends who blow stuff up for a living.

Murrrcat, you can absolutely raise the chickens.

Not me but my husband used to blow up stuff for a living and is pretty good with land navigation and hunting. Growing plants might be an issue but he is adapting to that too.

Me I'm dead weight. I might run but my quick thinking skills are not so good.

Would this be considered a spinoff thread?
Good running shoes? Hiking boots?

You can't keep pets in a zombie apocalypse. They get bit, and you have to kill them like in I Am Legend, and It's too damn sad.

I would BE Alice from Resident Evil because she is so friggin badass.

In Resident Evil Apocalypse (2)
Attachment 26300

And Extinction (3)
Attachment 26301

And I would live here
Attachment 26302

But I'm only dealing with normal, zombies. Not these super charged zombies that can run and climb and swim. Hello? Who came up with that?

I've seen so many zombie movies, I tend to get them mixed up.

Zombie Land is the sorta funny one with Woody Harrelson

Dawn of The Dead was in the mall

LAND of the Dead was with the hottie Aussie from the Mentalist where they evolve and learn and stuff. weird.

Quarantine was the rabies outbreak zombies.

Resident Evil, my favorite, was the global company test gone wrong.

There was the Quentin Tarantino one w Rose McGowan, what was that?

and the one where the kids leave school on vacation and end up in their rich friends panic room? Can't remember that one either.

Planet Terror is the Tarantino film.

You forgot the best of the best: 28 Days Later.....rage virus. LOL

Oh and the old school and awesome Night of the Living Dead (196. RIP Ben.

Dead and Breakfast

28 Weeks Later

Sure I'm forgetting more...

NOTLD... Bar-ba-ra!!

Planet Terror was written, directed and produced by Robert Rodriguez. QT co produced and released it with his Grindhouse feature, Bullet Proof.

Last year I watched a 6 part show on IFC about zombies. It took place on the set of British Big Brother. I wish I could remember the name. It was so good.

**^^ I remembered!! Dead Set. It was great.

hahaha.

I can use a gun, bow, or knife. I can find edible plants, grow stuff, cook. And as I said before, I will always be the one to trek to the pharmacies and find drugs and such.

If my boyfriend survives, you all will want him on your team. He has lived in a cabin in the woods for much of the last 40 years. No furnace, erratic plumbing, and he managed to raise 3 kids there, mostly on his own. He knows all the good and bad plants in the woods. He has lots of guns and knives, can grow anything, he can hunt and fish and chop trees and he can make a fire out of nothing.
The Cabin in the Woods? Uh uh, they had zombies there, too. And all kinds of other nasty stuff.

I think someone mentioned what Katniss wore in The Hunger Games movie. That's what I'd want to wear. Something form fitting, but not too tight and that would keep me warm enough, too. A windbreaker or better, a leather jacket. Good shoes. An extra pair of underwear.

Supplies?
Ace bandage or two
whatever food I can kill or loot along the way.
Maybe some canned something and dried fruits and meat like jerky
lots of water, don't want to drink any contaminated by bloated zombie that falls apart in it...
I need a car, so I can just drive through suspicious traffic snarls (28 days later, Zombieland, The Walking Dead, etc.).
Gas will be free, so no worries.
I'd like a partner. No kids or animals, because that would be sad.
Xanax or Valium
antibiotics
tylenol/analgesics
a hammock
a good blanket
a Klean Kanteen
matches
flashlight and batteries
a watch
a compass
a map

Weapon of choice: compound bow or crossbow and a knife of course, duh.

I'd be outfitted like a Navy Seal, or what I think they carry - backpack, ammo, camo, rations, tent, etc. etc.

Plus, a good helmet < -- makes it harder for the zombies to get to the brains.
