That's if the zombies don't figure out how to swim!
They can't drown, and in some movies they figured out how to just walk across the bottom of the body of water until they find land again!
I love the 'rules' in Zombieland.
You absolutely can not perform roundhouse kicks to a zombie's head while wearing cargo pants. I'm not making that up. That's like science.

We have friends bringing barbwire, explosives, and booby traps. Lol. We spent many drunken hours coming up with a plan.

It's handy having redneck friends who blow stuff up for a living.
Murrrcat, you can absolutely raise the chickens.

Not me but my husband used to blow up stuff for a living and is pretty good with land navigation and hunting. Growing plants might be an issue but he is adapting to that too.
Me I'm dead weight. I might run but my quick thinking skills are not so good.

NOTLD... Bar-ba-ra!!
Planet Terror was written, directed and produced by Robert Rodriguez. QT co produced and released it with his Grindhouse feature, Bullet Proof.
Last year I watched a 6 part show on IFC about zombies. It took place on the set of British Big Brother. I wish I could remember the name. It was so good.
**^^ I remembered!! Dead Set. It was great.

The Cabin in the Woods? Uh uh, they had zombies there, too. And all kinds of other nasty stuff.

I think someone mentioned what Katniss wore in The Hunger Games movie. That's what I'd want to wear. Something form fitting, but not too tight and that would keep me warm enough, too. A windbreaker or better, a leather jacket. Good shoes. An extra pair of underwear.
Supplies?
Ace bandage or two
whatever food I can kill or loot along the way.
Maybe some canned something and dried fruits and meat like jerky
lots of water, don't want to drink any contaminated by bloated zombie that falls apart in it...
I need a car, so I can just drive through suspicious traffic snarls (28 days later, Zombieland, The Walking Dead, etc.).
Gas will be free, so no worries.
I'd like a partner. No kids or animals, because that would be sad.
Xanax or Valium
antibiotics
tylenol/analgesics
a hammock
a good blanket
a Klean Kanteen
matches
flashlight and batteries
a watch
a compass
a map
Weapon of choice: compound bow or crossbow and a knife of course, duh.

I'd be outfitted like a Navy Seal, or what I think they carry - backpack, ammo, camo, rations, tent, etc. etc.
Plus, a good helmet < -- makes it harder for the zombies to get to the brains.
