I love you, Springy! You made my heart singy!
Im going to post a picture later. I got 2 pairs of really cute striped socks, chocolate covered almonds, various loose candies, bath soaps and a puff, a Hello Kitty pad w/ pens (yes, I love HK!), and the sweetest card but I really think Calvin wrote it! Oh yeah,, yeah! Two very pretty goldtone barrettes - one topped with a butterfly and the other was a heart! My son was dancing in anticipation when I got home. "You have a package." We oohhed, ahheed and sampled. Everything was delicious except the soap. Yes, I tried to eat one because I thought it was candy. My nose is all stuff and I couldn't smell it and didn't read the label. It is in what looks like a cookie wrapper. It's all good. I chased it with chocolate!

ETA: Calvin included a present for my kitties! I would post a picture of it but I can't find that. lol They snatched it as soon as I unwraped it and took off.

I have most of my gifts for my curly, but with MIL in hospital and son with chicken pox, I have not gotten a chance to finish shopping. I promise it will go out soon, but I want to get something special.

But at least the pews never attend yoga!
Y'all shouldn't worry about getting them out ASAP, you've got time and even if they're a little late I'm sure the gift police won't come arrest you!

I do have a secret yen for pink in unexpected places. ~ninja dog
I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
^ Are you kidding?! I'm going to arrest ME if my gifts don't get there on time! I don't care if the cutoff date before we get yelled at is in January. I want my gifts to get to my curly by Christmas.

Ugh. Still no update. If it was in this country I'd be calling the last post office it was at and ordering them to find that damn package. But the postal service isn't the same everywhere and you just don't want to go around yelling at people. : )

But some things work so much better after someone gets cussed out....this I have learnt after a few years overseas (even in a super polite place like Japan).
I ain't thirsty. There's plenty of fish in the sea, but I don't want all of them, can I have some standards? Or do we just have to settle, for someone's who meh and will do.

i am now convinced that it was a xmas miracle that took my package from London, Ontario to Los Angeles, California in 5 days flat!

there is no other explanation for it!

My secret curly is actually getting two boxes, it turns out... so if somebody gets a package with no card or anything, look for a second one.

They should be there Thursday or Friday!

Its official that my curly isn't getting her gifts until after Christmas. I'm hoping she's orthodox (although I know she isn't!) so that it will still be early!

But she will definitely be getting it during the week next week. Even if I have to deliver it myself!!!!!!!!!!!!

But so that she knows, I've been shopping diligently. There is something special that I'm looking for and nothing has fit the bill just yet. I have a couple of other places I'm going to check out before I just decide to do it myself! (in which case I will have to deliver it by hand since I'm such a perfectionist and will be tweaking and tweaking until I'm totally happy with it.)

Mix of 3s, thick, coarse, medium porosity

Current hair styling technique: rake with a scrunch at the end. (works with my coarse hair)

pw: curls

Known HGs: KCCC, homemade fsg, honey
Wouldn't you delivering it personally be a wonderful gift to get!!

@jeep: Shouldn't your local P.O. be able to help?

We don't have tracking numbers, but if we register a package they will be able to help us locate it if it ever becomes "lost" in the system.
