It's Tomorrow...
... I'm on pins and needles. Work is going to be very busy and my office is buying us all pizzas. I'm bringing Mike's Hard Lemonade because if Obama wins I want to celebrate but if he looses I'll need to numb up a bit.
How are you feeling? Excited? Worried?

Glad it's almost over but worried Romney may win. I'm not watching the channels that talk about the campaigns tonight and will tune in and out tomorrow night.

As your lovely little neighbor, worried about what will happen if Romney wins.

I don't think I'm going to tune in.
My nerves will be shot.
Plus I have a presentation Wednesday in one of my bio labs. My nerves are already shot enough from that.
So I will be in the library rehearsing.

I'm always nervous on election day.
The other side of the coin is that if Romney wins and things get better, well good, we need it. If he wins and things go in the ****ter, well we told you so! Maybe the GOP will now shut up.
It could be a win win.

For the first time in my 37 years I'm terrified of who may become president. This will be the first time I actually pay attention to the news coverage and will be on pins and needles all day.

I'm worried! I'm very worried!
I'm not working this election because I've had enough of the "ladies" for a while, and because I'm too nervous to follow the rules.
I just want it to be over.

Please, Florida and Ohio voters, don't let us down. The Republican voter suppression shenanigans have been extreme in those states the past few years and it's going to be hell on earth there tomorrow trying to vote. I know it's asking a lot, but, please, if you're able, please stand in the long lines and demand your right to vote. Please don't let them win by those kind of tactics.

I ran into one of friends who was working early voting on Saturday. She said the turn out was unreal in her district. People were lining up to vote at 8am and they didn't open until 10. They also did 50 curb side and normally do 2 or 3. *And yes that does makes me nervous because curbside in my mind = shuttled in, elderly, Romney supporters but that isn't necessarily true. I do live in mainly democratic/diverse voting area.* The news did say the magic 4 letter S word, for tonight/tomorrow, which could be responsible for the large early turn out.
I will be Obama-ing my district tomorrow.

I got my studded tires put on today since I heard we're supposed to get snow tonight. My voter's registration card is in my wallet, even though I normally show my ID.

I'm very nervous and I need to go to bed. Gotta get up in 6 hours to go vote and then work and then going to a watch party tomorrow night hosted by the ga dem party. I have 2 blue dresses I have to pick from and not sure which one to wear, although that's the least of my worries. Why am I so nervous!

I'll be avoiding the news as much as possible. I'm afraid Romney is going to win. To me, that means the lives of the poor and disadvantaged aren't likely to improve. If he does win, I hope he proves me wrong.

I have an absentee ballot I will personally turn into the supervisor of elections office if the line at my polling place is too long. I filled out my sample ballot last night. It was filled with poorly worded amendments created in an attempt to give the republicans more power in Florida. I have never filled a sample ballot out before -- this is an extremely important year, I wanted to be sure I had a clear head when figuring out answers.
My parents told me of people waiting 4-6 hours to early vote!

I now live in a swing state (Virginia) so the ads have been non-stop and the robo-calls even worse!! My hubby and I are on 2 different sides so we've had some fights lately so I'm looking forward to that to end...
I am not happy with Obama and I voted for him in 08 I don't like the way our economy is going and the amount of spending we have been doing.. I don't like all the foreign aid we send to countries who couldn't give two $hits about us.... I would like to see a whole lot less of that but like I told me hubby I am afraid of all the social issues that I believe in going away if Romney gets in...
- A reversal to Roe V Wade
- A constitutional amendment banning gay marriage
- Cuts for Planned Parenthood/ stem cell research
- Cuts for PBS as well
We shall see.. I have to work tonight till 9:30pm so I probably will watch when I get home.. either my hubby will be happy (so I know Romney won or is leading) or he'll be pissed!!
PS: Hubby left @ 6:30am to go vote.. polls opened here at 6:00am

Not American but I'm watching the election carefully. Folks in my home country are terrified of a romney win, 70%+ french citizens want Obama to win because a Romney win spells disaster for the foreign policies in place here. I hope it goes well.

I'm at peace.
I understand there are things at stake but just have a gut feeling everything is going to be just fine (if you're an Obama supporter lol). It's very likely he will win, if you look at most polls, Intrade and follow Nate Silver's analysis, among others'. Romney will have to run the map to have any real chance at beating the incumbent and it just is numerically unlikely. I'm even doubting it will be so very close at this point. ... Of course, all this depends on people getting off their butts and voting today if they haven't already.
Sure, nothing is set in stone, but ... well, I that's my thought on it. We'll see soon enough though, I suppose (unless it does end up close and we get legal disputes over votes in swing states like Ohio).

I feel kind of numb about it, same way I felt 4 years ago. Springcurl said it best: nervous. But your optimism, makes me feel a bit better.
