I knew he was older than mine, but I thought it was by at least a year, and not a few months. Cool.

Aw!
I just voted. I tried first at 11:30, but the line was pretty long, so I decided to go back at around 2:15. Hardly any line and it took about 10 minutes.
At risk of sounding like one of those "my vote doesn't count" people, the presidential race isn't close in my state. I haven't been keeping track of the polls for senator, but I thought Elizabeth Warren might be able to use my help. And I really wanted to vote on the questions! (Except for one, which I didn't understand--it had to do with auto repair or something.)

Wow, goldy, that's quite a wait! Mr B and I just got back from voting - we were in & out in under 10 minutes. I know this will sound silly to those of you with long waits, but normally I might have 2 or 3 people in front of me when I walk in. Today there were about 15 people ahead of us. That's a lot for our small community. And, yes, we got stickers.

I voted early this morning before work (6:30AM). Our normal polling place had no power, but they moved all the voting to the library. There was a line but it moved quickly -- took maybe 10 or 15 minutes.

SuZen, I know this is totally off topic, but, my God: your hair. Is it really as silver as it appears in your icon ... or was that from the lighting used when the pic was taken?
Either way, your hair looks amazing

Off topic.
S, we've known you here for a while. It's so nice to see you as a perfectly grown up woman.
And you are SO smart!
It s not only been a pleasure knowing you, it s been a real privilege.

I did early voting last week, so I didn't have to worry about it today. It took about 15 minutes, most of which was waiting in line. Beforehand, I read as much of the literature put out by our county's league of women voters as I could and took a sample ballot in with me.
There was the most adorable volunteer from the league handing out the stickers. She was adamant about making sure everyone got a sticker!
When I did go out today, I was surprised and happy to see all the very noticeable "Vote Here" signs around the 3 communities here.

Done.....took up my whole lunch hour, but definitely worth it.
My poor bf is out of town, so he can't vote. He planned to vote for Romney, so I'm glad he's out of town.
I'm so nervous about the outcome of this election. I don't think I've ever been this nervous before.

Voted before the evening rush. It took 15 minutes from when I left my house to when I returned.
We have a couple propositions on the ballot here in Minnesota: one against gay marriage, another for voter ID. The smart thing is to vote "no" on both of them, as they are stupid. Both designed by Republicans to get people to the polls.

I voted by mail 3 weeks ago as by-mail voting is mandatory in my state (Washington). I'm a little salty about not getting a sticker like eveyrone else
