I dont want a new one. But I guess if he was one of those asian men making all that money, I could borrow money to go to vet school instead of expecting a handout from the govt aka federal aid in the form of pell grants and stafford loans.

Work = posting on a board full of people you can't stand, raising your blood pressure, asking for your account to be deleted, then coming back later under another name to do it all over again? 'K then, got it!

What I don't get is why people have to be so extreme. Neither Obama or Romney are gods or the anti-Christ. But not even that, why blame Obama for something that was happening long before be became president. China? Really? Because it's Obama's fault that people want things cheaper and companies turn to China to cut cost. The borrowing from other countries just started in the last 4 years? Really? Come on

It kills me that people want everything to support their lifestyles but fail to realize that the person handing them their fries out the window still needs to survive.

Either you will pay $1 for fries and more in taxes for social programs or your fries would need to cost $3 in order to create a wage that people would actually live on. Either way, you are paying.

Or am I wrong, is the idea to let everyone fail that hasn't been quite as lucky as you?

Had an election-watch party last night, I'm sure we woke up the neighbors when they called it! My mixed up thoughts today are:

GET IT TOGETHER FLORIDA!!! Despite the crazy delay it looks like it's blue....I'll be so proud if is!! 49.8 vs 49.3% according to NYTimes.

Haven't had a chance to see the full speech yet but looking at the pictures....what a good looking family as usual! The girls are so much bigger now....it feels like when you look at your neighbor's kids and suddenly they're as tall as you. Sasha looks so much like BOTH her parents, wow.

I wonder how conservatives must be feeling....I live in such a blue area I haven't actually come into contact with any in person, lol.

So hopefully now that he doesn't have to worry about re-election, Obama can REALLY get **** done...stop trying to reach out to ppl who don't want to work with you....I'm so tired of liberals CONSTANTLY compromising on our values!

Cool story, but shouldn't you be releasing the hounds and ordering Smithers to draw you a bath?
Funny Moppy!

But what the hell does that even mean?
Women will most likely date asain men because they make more money? wth?!?!!? some folks still marry for love, just letting you know. and us women will break through the glass ceiling so we will be making the same as men and accomplishing the same things, so we wont need any man, black, white, or asian to take care of us. obama will help us accomplish that instead of putting us into binders!
It means THEY are taking over! Wake up!

A friend of mine on FB, who works for the Democratic party on campaigns, posted this: Elected to the Senate today: the first disabled woman, first openly lesbian woman, first Asian woman. Binder full of ****ing awesome.

Are people so upset that Romney didn't win or that the Republican party didn't win? I hope it's the latter and not the former.

I think most Americans are looking forward to an election (someday) with a fiscally conservative candidate but with moderate and/or liberal social views, who can argue his/her point without citing God or religion for the why. Romney just didn't fit the bill.

Also, med, what you think of my signature? Might get in the way of you having 7 more kids. Liberals are supposed to be protectors of the Earth, too, you know. Obama wouldn't approve of your choice, there.

I read the reason for this they feel it will be the same gridlock because the congressional makeup is basically the same as it was before. The house dominated by republicans and the senate barely controlled by the democrats.

I guess....but if everything is basically the same, why the sudden plunge? Still makes no sense to me, though I admit I don't really follow financial news. It just seems like Wall Street is always going into a tailspin for no good reason. And then it shoots up again....the whole thing is so unstable. Sometimes I can't believe our economy hinges on these peoples' moods and paranoia.
