Do you have any physical quirks/nervous habits??
...little things you do a lot with your hands, feet, head or any other body part? I was in a meeting today and one of my coworkers cracked his neck, which he does a lot. Sometimes he'll just tilt his head to do it; other times he'll grab his jaw and twist it. It makes a loud crunch, o_O. Some people crack their backs or their knuckles. I chew on the inside of my lip, and I'm constantly rubbing my nose (I'm so afraid of having boogers).
What do you do?

When I'm nervous, I'll keep twisting my ring or twirling my necklace around.

I twist my earrings. My Grandmother says my Great Grandmother used to do it as well.

I spell workds with my fingers. Like I use my index finger as a pen and I "write" words. usually a word that was just said or something. Over and over again. But it isn't obvious, I think it looks like my finger is twitching against me because it is more in my mind...
I feel totally strange now.

I chew the inside of my mouth.
Or my usual description: 'I eat my face.'

I pick at the skin around my nails, and bite the inside of my mouth and my tongue.

I blink a lot if I'm in an awkward confrontation.

I chew on the inside of my lip/cheek (that one is a really bad habit... I'm doing it as I type!), crack my knuckles, run my fingernail under my other nails (if that makes sense?), and I go through stages of having to "fix" my nose ring often.

My DH constantly taps or jiggles his foot, or rubs his hand on his pant leg, drives me bonks ;p lol! My MIL constantly rubs her hand hard against her outer thigh, I think he got that from her...she's a ball of nerves, almost like she is always about to shriek and faint from stress.
I pick my cuticles, and if I am really upset, I will rub one of my eyebrows, stroking it over and over again - it is oddly soothing!

I'm also someone who chews on their lips.
I will also take a small lock of hair and twirl it around until it makes kind of a rope looking thingy. Then I'll proceed to wrap the rope of hair around my finger and kinda trace my fingernail up and down the length of it. My grandma did it, my mom does it and now I do it. And after a little while, I'll gather a new section of hair and do it all over again. Sometimes I'll loop them into knots just to see it falls out.
At work during meetings, I'll unscrew and screw the part of the pen at the top. I only use ballpoint clicker pens, so you can usually unscrew the tip portion to put a replacement ink in? I unscrew and screw it back tight during the whole meeting.
I'm also on the phone a lot at work helping people get paperwork completed. That comes with boredom from all the dead air and I can't really do a whole lot while I'm on the phone, most of the rest of my work requires I use a phone to get it done. There is also the frustration factor because the one's I deal with are not the smartest cookies. So I have a mini slinky, pop tops and silly putty that I play with to keep my phone rage under control and keep my hands busy.

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.
No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

I do this too!
I'd forgotten.
I used to be very obsessive about it when I was young.

Another lip chewer here. I'll start in on my cheeks sometimes too. I also will play with my earrings and slide the backs back and forth.
My husband bites his nails. Drives. Me. Crazy. I'm constantly nudging him and pulling his hands out of his mouth because he wants to stop, but it's seriously an addiction. Blech.

I pick at my fingernails/cuticles. That one can get really bad. Like bloody bad.
I used to play with my tragus piercing a lot (it's a stud). For awhile now I've been picking at/pulling my head hair which is getting kind of out of control.
