They look like they would be useful in mud, or very bad slushy weather. I'm not sure exactly how to answer your question, but maybe more country than combat. ??

Best 1st day method: Super Soaker

Deep condish: Curl Junkie Curl Rehab
Stylers: Experimenting with cones & sulfates while the dews are high.
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.

Currently a fan of TiGi products, (rock on, TiGi Curlesque styling creme!) but that will soon change - I am a self-avowed product junkie! Yay!
BIG fan of supersoaker method - thanks Rudeechick!

They look like a hiking boot/duck shoe combo.

I've owned many combat boots. Those aren't it.

Definitely hiker/duck shoe combo. Nowhere close to cowboy boots or combat boots for that matter.

Country, but as in Towne and Country (mumsy and daddy are going to hunt fox), not Willie Nelson- country.
