Would you date/marry a porn actor/actress?

Date casually...maybe. But no sex or possibly even kissing.

Date seriously or marry...no, never. The risk of stds is way too high. And I'd feel like part of a harem anyway.

Yeah, I know they're tested regularly. But I also recall a group of actors who tested positive for HIV a few years back. No thanks.
No MAS.

No. And not for the reason of disease. I don't even get that far with it mentally.

and No.

Not even the risk of stds, it's probably no different than someone who isn't in porn having stds.

But just no. One date but if I found out no. Besides guys in porn are never cute. The women aren't either they just have big boobies and people automatically assume they're hot.

I'm not dating someone who's having sex with other people else while we're dating.

If he quit and looked like james franco...maybe.

Aren't they trying to get a law passed where porn actors/actresses have to wear condoms?
Or did it get passed?

Emphatically...No.

I don't know why anyone would even ask this question.

no

murrturtles, they passed a condom law, or were trying to, in the town next to ours (we're not far from LA,) the industry was against it, the locals totally in support, hoping the porn makers would just take it somewhere else.

No. I can't imagine dating one either.
When are women going to face the fact that they don’t know their own bodies as well as men who have heard things?

I couldn't because I give myself 100% to the person I am with and I expect the same back. That includes emotionally and physically.
Hell no. That's a dealbreaker.

No because of the reasons listed by everyone else std's ect but also because I couldnt date anyone knowing they were having sex with other ppl...a lot of other ppl. Some of these porn actors are married with families so I guess there are ppl out there who accept it.

Strippers....no some things are only meant to be between a couple not strange women who want to watch my boyfriend get naked. Once when I went to a strip club with my friends this stripper kept hitting on me. He was asking personal questions about me and tried to give me a free dance which I asked him not to do out of embarassment and then he asked for my number which I didnt give. He was really good looking but I just didnt want to go there and he was being so touchy feely with me that I left so I wouldnt have to tell him off in front of everyone and cause a scene. I couldnt help thinking how many women he had asked out in the same fashion after a night of working...and how many he went on dates with or home with...it made me sick.

I might consider casual dating/sex. Maybe. I'm not entirely against the idea. In theory. I guess. At the very least it might be an interesting anecdote. Maybe. I'd most likely be squicked out if the opportunity ever actually presented itself, though.

I'd be more likely to go for it if his porn career was in the past and it wasn't a major part of his life. A couple of movies in his youth when he was broke and wanted easy money? Understandable. A multi-year career? No thank you.

It's counter-intuitive, but I recently read that HIV/STD rates are significantly lower in the adult film industry than regular civilians.

"The industry’s medical consultants say that about 350,000 sex scenes have been shot without condoms since 2004, and H.I.V. has not been transmitted on a set once."

Regular testing is key.
