My 1st child was 3 months old when I got pregnant with my 2nd. It wasn't planned, but I was happy. The responses from my family & friends were very hurtful. With that I say congratulations, Jessica & I wish her the best. She lost the weight before. She can do it again.

It's difficult to recover from close-together pregnancies like that.

She's pretty young. Younger mothers tend to recover more easily than older mothers in most cases including those with closely spaced pregnancies.

I thought you aren't suppose to diet while pregnant. Im pregnant now, ive lost 50 pounds in the pregnancy (by accident) and my doctor throws fits when I see her.

I think they used to have a pregnancy plan a long time ago. Now they have one for nursing moms but not for expecting moms.

I was just thinking about how far apart my brother and I am and I want my kids to be closer together. I don't see anything wrong with it except the fact that we all know she was trying to lose weight; but she'll just have to wait.
If she wanted more than one kid it had to happen sooner or later.

My first two are 14 months apart, and I recovered just fine - in fact went on to have three more.

My last 2 are 11 months apart. I recovered just fine also. It's funny because I have 2 kids the same age a few days that are not twins people be so confused

Maybe that's what I'm thinking, you can do WW when nursing. But WW is not a low calorie diet, you eat good healthy food.

Everyone is different when it comes to how their body will react to the weight gain and recovery, some people have a hard time and some don't so whatever happens I'm sure she will handle it as all women have to do.

They do focus on her weight a lot, a lot of celebs use their baby weight gain to endorse weight loss programs and make money but Jenny Craig doesn't come with a personal chef trainer and cook for everyone so it is a bit misleading. She has more help than most women when it comes to getting in shape again so she should be fine.

Congrats to her and her family. I would go crazy with that close age difference.
