Scrills, that's hilarious!

GC, yours are WAY cuter than the ones in the tutorial! I couldn't be more thrilled with how they came out.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
GC if you are going to put those up in your shop I definitely want some. B would love them too! He only has 1 ornament on our tree so we're trying to add more for him. Poor guy is in his 30s with barely any ornaments to call his own. Those are super cute

Definitely not just for couples, I immediately thought of my mom when I saw it and one heart in CA (for me well us...she misses the 3 of us especially the dog. haha) and one heart in GA (for her). A heart and a paw print!

Those seem like they would sell pretty well with all the long distance internet relationships these days.

THANKS!!!

That's a great idea! I didn't even think about familes and college kids. I really like that idea. So excited!!!!! I picked up a ton of different colors yesterday.

I'm also making them for family and friends (with initials)(and maybe with hot chocolate)(Or mini Baileys)

I found a recipe for homemade hot chocolate mix that I'm going to try out and something like that would be cute packaged up inside the cup.

^^ I've been wanting to try hot chocolate on an stick. yum. I might get lazy and just buy a package. What's the recipe?
I liked this one because it didn't include that nasty powdered coffee creamer like some I've come across. I haven't tried it yet so I have no idea if it's good. I thought I may package up a few servings in cute baggies to put with the mini-loaves I'm making for Mr. Spring's co-workers. I have to do 15 gifts and whizzing this up in the blender will take a whole lot less time than making cookies AND mini-loaves like I did last year. Who knows, the people may throw it all in the trash, but I try not to think about that and hope they like it.

Homemade Hot Cocoa
Ingredients
  • 2 C (not packed) Powdered Sugar
  • 3 C non-fat dry milk
  • 1 1/2 C dark cocoa or Dutch process, but regular is ok
  • 1 1/2 C white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Use a spoon to scoop the powdered sugar in to the measuring cup, do not pack it down.
2. Mix the Powdered Sugar, dry milk and dark cocoa together
3. add in the white chocolate chips
4. 1 C at a time, add to food processor, powerful blender, Ninja etc…. and pulse until a fine powder with white chocolate slivers/bits is produced
5. add 1/3 to 1/4 C to 1 C heated milk, whisk until rich, creamy, hot chocolate is achieved.
Quick Notes
* top with miniature marshmallows or homemade whipped cream if desired

BTW, this is currently my favorite smilie:
GC, at Target (in the baking aisle with the other marshmallow stuff) I saw the little crunchy dry marshmallows that come in a hot chocolate packet if you wanted to mix some of those in. Or get super fancy and make your own marshmallows, that would be so tasty. I don't even know these people Mr. S works with so they probably won't get any marshmallows.

They even have peppermint flavor:
