no makeup day

Like Tree9Likes

I have been at work for over an hour and just realized I have on no makeup. None. Whatsoever.

I have on sunscreen/daytime moisturizer. That's it.

So.......the question is, should I bother to go put something on now. All I have in my purse in pressed powder foundation and tinted lip balm. Part of me thinks, "Why bother? Everyone has already seen me and no one died from the shock." And the other part of me is screaming profanities about why I have no concealer in this purse and I better do something FAST!
Meh, I do this sometimes but *shock* on PURPOSE!
I just kind of pinch my cheeks throughout the day to get some colour goin lol
"Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.
If you feel like it. I don't do it for other people and everyone's seen me w/out it. For me the only noticable difference is eyeliner and maybe some lip product.
I often do this intentionally.

I think we women are too hard on ourselves. I've found most people don't even notice or care if I am wearing makeup, so long as I am otherwise well groomed. I am also noticing many women I see every day wear little to no makeup and I think they look fine.

Honestly, I think exercise and a good diet are the best kinds of "makeup."

I agree with wildhair. When I'm eating right and working out, my complexion is soooo much brighter and more even.

Often times I just wear mascara and some tinted lip gloss to work if I'm running late to work.

Now weekends, I definitely jazz it up.
I'm makeup free 70% of the time. I think skin is better off, in general, not done up every day.

But, I'd probably look better if I wore mascara daily. My lashes are pretty clear colored, so I look like I have no lashes.

My face looks the best when I'm ovulating and especially after I get my face threaded.

I'd at least have to smudge a little eyepencil on the outer corners of my eyes. My eyes tend to disappear without liner or mascara. My eyelashes seem to have lost all their color in my old age.

I just roll with it. I'm so used to it by now. People sort of just figure that it goes with being pale.

I did this the other day, then I shrugged it off and said "the kids don't care." I'd leave my face naked.
I always am makeup free lately lol i have acne marks on my cheeks but i am still confident in my natural beauty. I think more women should be natural its the most beautiful look in my opinion

I think natural beauty is great but I also don't think makeup takes anything away from your natural beauty if it is done properly...you don't want to look like a clown but you can enhance some of your best features.

I love makeup and I'm good at working with it so I enjoy changing up my look sometimes. I don't usually leave the house with absolutely no makeup on but depending on where I am going I do sometimes wear very minimal makeup.

I take good care of my skin so wearing makeup is not a problem for me.

I'm lazy, and generally have decent skin, so I don't bother with makeup unless I am otherwise dressing nice.

I wear it for work at my new company now that I'm business casual every day. In grad school and in my first job where I could wear jeans and sneakers every day, I never bothered.

Working in a science lab, there are a lot of women who don't seem to bother with makeup. I think scientists tend to be a more utilitarian bunch.

The only makeup I wear most days is lipstick. I've never been into it much to be honest and the times that I've worn full makeup, I looked and felt extremely unnatural. As long as I'm well groomed otherwise, it shouldn't matter to anyone.

I never wear makeup to work. I work on a meatball production floor so I feel it's a waste.

Also, no matter how well I take care of my skin, makeup just makes me break out, so in general, I end up looking better without it. I do wear makeup to special events though, or if I feel like it.

Also, I like to sleep in. Makeup takes that away from me…

I am lazy too! I have blond and almost transparent eyelashes and really look better with mascara or with my lashes dyed, which I have been too lazy to redo even though I loved the way they looked jet black. I mostly wear a loose mineral makeup that a very tiny amount will cover my scars, acne, and eczema. Some days without makeup my skin looks okay. Yesterday, I looked pretty splotchy. I have allergies and am constantly blowing my nose, so the tip of my nose is always bright red without the mineral makeup.

I wear either Carmex or Neutragena tinted balm on my lips and that's it for most days. Only if I have a date or special occasion do I bother with more. More for me is mascara, eyeshadow and maybe blush. I have really small beady eyes and eyeliner accentuates that so I avoid it at all times!

I think it's more of the thought of no makeup is worse than the no make up itself. I need to lighten up when it comes to my skin! I will never be a model but unless my eczema is going bizerk, I am rarely hideous.
