I love the butter bell. It matches my other kitchen stuff perfectly. Cobalt blue is one of my colors. It's like you knew!

You guys she got me an ornament with "Knitting Queen" on it and had it personalized. It's perfect! I adore it and hung it up right away.

Off topic - Jess, I used to have some of that same birdhouse stuff in my kitchen!

Thumbs up

My gift arrived in pouring rain and driving wind! At least the mailman rang the bell so it wouldn't sit on top of the mailbox and get saturated. The outside was soaked, but the inside was dry.

mcheryce was my secret curly santa!

She sent me -- fruit snacks! Whee!

Then I opened the fruit snacks box and found:
  • the Simply Red CD I mentioned (and totally forgot I listed! surprise!). I'd be listening to my CD now but son is watching all the apocalypse shows on the history channel right now. LOL But I will listen to it soon! Wait! I'll rip it to itunes and listen on my ipod so I don't have to wait!
  • 3 e.l.f. nail polishes! I can't wait to try them! My first e.l.f.s. One is a nude/tan, the second is a milk chocolate brown, the third is a beautifully sparkly gold! I was sitting here wondering what to do with my nails next-- now I'm going to do a red with that gold on top! Thank you! I'm glad I waited to redo my nails.
Thank you mcheryce! You did a great job! I am one happy curly!

ETA: I'm thinking I might try painting a reindeer on one nail with the browns.

How funny. I have tons of it. The full plate and bowl set, casserole dish, chip and dip set, gravy boat, cannisters, etc. In my last house I had vaulted cielings with tons display room on top of the cabinets. I got quite a collection with all that room. Sadly it all sits in cabinets now since my no kitchen is much smaller.

ha!!!!

thanks to the amazing ms redcelticcurls, i am no longer a Trader Joe's virgin.

she sent me 4 different types of mustard, including my favourite type - Provencal (roasted red pepper). the others are Basil and Chablis; she also sent Black Currant, but it broke in transit (i suspect it might have frozen).

i use a lot of mustard to make glazes and sauces, so these are PERFECT for me!

i also got a package of maple cream cookies, a genuine Pittsburgh original Terrible Towel, and.....

the infamous and very hard to find

Trader Joe's Single Origin Chocolate Passport

it contains 8 high-cocoa content bars from 8 different countries and they pair with red wine! i now have an excuse to buy something like a great Italian Amarone with the gift card my boss gave me to go with the chocolate!

i keep sniffing the package - is it possible to sniff all the smell out of chocolate through the wrapping???

RCC, you outdid yourself!!!

thank you!!!

Awwww, the black current mustard was my favorite, but I'm glad that your favorite made it intact! I thought I used enough bubble wrap, but I hadn't thought about freezing and glass. Duh!

The passports are fabulous. I hope that you enjoy them in decadence.

The cookies were funny. I wanted you to see what type of maple cookies Canada makes for a US market.

Also, everyone needs a Terrible Towel!

The shipping went surprisingly fast!

I love when I get a curly who doesn't have a TJs. So exciting.

Whoo hoo!!! Jess I'm so glad you liked it. I really wanted to get you some knitting yarn, but when I found out about the personalized knitting needle I had to get it. I knew I was gonna get you the butter bell, finding the perfect one was the hard part. I tried my best and crossed my paws that you would like it! And the beads I got during mardi gras, they add just a little bit something special imo!

I'm so so so glad you like everything!
