I'm still in shock that my gift hasn't arrived yet. I've shipped stuff to Canada many times and have never had this problem! This is so infuriating.

I think it's just a luck of draw thing. The year I had Springy, I sent that gift out the earliest and it took the longest...I want to say almost 3 weeks maybe? I was close to having a panic attack, it just wouldn't arrive.

Last year it went really quick and I sent it pretty close to Christmas.

This year I ordered directly from the company thinking that would help with the stress. Nada!!!! It took forever as well

BC has been hit hard with snow and wind over the last week so that will contribute to the slow mail.

I agree with others that have said the postal service isn't fluid. A few years ago I used to send several packages a year to the US for the soldier I adopted. Some took forever to reach the base and others went relatively quickly.

I like the idea of a Valentines Day or Spring exchange if it has to be changed. Wasn't there a year or two where we did a spring and a July 4th/ Canada Day exchange in addition to the Holiday one?

I vote for keeping international shipping. I think most curlies are totally understanding about things getting held up in customs or just delayed in the mail.
Now me personally, I'm not as understanding about people mailing super late in the game. We all know the deadline, we all know things can take awhile this time of year, we should all make the effort to ship early (barring illness, emergencies, etc, of course).
I would actually like the name exchange to happen the first of November so I have more time to shop (since I do most of my shopping online).

She said the wrapping was too dark for her to get a good pic. You're gonna have to release it, Speck.

But I do wanna see what was in the box.

I'm so glad you like it!!!! I read all the descriptions a few times, and was sure there were no food scents.

Then I went to do another order and thought I might send the same thing and realised one said vanilla and I was so annoyed I had missed that!

I have really sensitive skin as well and do well with their products, so hoped you would be ok!

Glad you likey

Last year when I went to Hawaii I went into a Lush store and bought some hair product. It ruled. You got a great gift Thelio!

And CC, I plan on gifting you for the whole year around because you've had to wait to long. I'm so so sorry.

So, today I opened up my mailbox and there was my curly's gift. It was returned to sender. I guess that clears up the mystery of why it took so long to get there. It was marked that no one by her named lived at the address I sent it to.

So, Night Owl, please PM me your address so I can resend your gift! I'm sure I probably transposed a digit or something goofy like that.

Oh no, nynaeve

At least you know it didn't get lost and the people who got it were honest enough to send it back instead of keeping it!

Okay, so here is my very belated thank you to Amneris for my secret curly gift. My mom sent the package about a month ago and it finally arrived! It can take packages a long time sometimes. I was actually getting worried that the box was lost.

Anyway, I received a really cool silver necklace, skull keychain, cute Travel tissues, nail polish, some Body Shop body butter, and a very cute Hello Kitty stethoscope cover. And of course a very nice card with holiday wishes. So thank you very much for the great gifts, Amneris!!!!
