Santa Bar Crawl
 

Does your city do this? I live in a rural community, so they don't, but I work in this city and found out they do:

Mine does Santacon. It's where people going around the city in Santa costumes. I'm sure a number of them do bar crawl, though.

It's done here in Scottsdale, AZ. In fact it's happening Dec 8th. I haven't attended.

Yep, my local SantaCon is next weekend. I'm probably going to go!

a couple of years ago, i was out on a first date with someone and the bar was invaded by people on a Twelve Bars of Christmas crawl!

i'd never heard of it before...

Our town doesn't put on a bar crawl (just a family oriented light up night) but people here do private bar crawls for lots of different holidays (and sometimes for no reason at all). Someone rents a bus, you pay a few bucks, and ride around all night drinking, both in the bus and in the bars. I've been on a few that were absolute blasts.

You have to bring a toy to donate to participate in this Santacon. I think it's a neat idea but of course I am much too boring to participate. I need yoga pants, hot tea, wool socks and a good bedtime story with my kiddos when it's this cold out. Can we please do a Christmas in July bar crawl for charity??? Please?

You only have to dress "in the spirit" of Santa or his elves, reindeer, etc. So whoever it was who wanted to be a Christmas faerie could enjoy this too! I would dress as Naughty Mrs. Claus. Ok, not really.

i know thelio was going to SantaCon in DC and she was planning to wear a sexy elf costume - weather permitting!
