I Need Ideas....My Purses

I have at least 12 purses and I just stack them on shelves in my bedroom, walk in closet. I was thinking that I could possibly hang them from a coat rack or something similar. They would be more accessible and would allow me to use my closet shelves for other things. Any ideas would be appreciated. TIA

If you have wall space for hooks that would be great, or if you have any hanging space where clothes would go you could use shower curtain S hooks to hang them. They also make something that goes over a door for hanging things like that. You could also do pegboard so the hooks could be moved around as needed, like in this picture.

I like the idea of the peg board. The hooks would have to be pretty big for some of my purses. I'm not sure where I could hang the peg board, but I'll look around tonite when I get home. I have a closet in the spare room that may work. Thanks......:thumbleft: I found a purse rack that I really like, but it's over $200. No way am I going to pay that much for something to hang my purses on and I don't want the over the door hanger.

I hang mine (and belts) on hangers alternating each side. One hanger won't hold all of yours so you'd need a couple but it works for me.

I have the coated wire shelves and I've used shower hooks like in this photo: Effortless Clear Shower Curtain Hooks (Set of 12) - Bed Bath & Beyond

They're pretty convenient.

I bet you could find a few creative ways on pinterest.

I use hangers and they don't work all that well.

Thank you for posting this! I have been struggling with handbag storage for a while. This looks like the perfect solution.

Have mercy, is there gold on that purse stand!?

I'm all about using wall space so I can keep the floors clear.

I would look around your area and see if anyone does wrought iron work. Bet it could be made for a lot less!
