Just awful ! Honestly what I heard of the prank wasn't that revealing, no more than what the palace was telling the press ( she's resting now ...).

I kow they are supposed to be funny, but too dislike pranks, especially the ones that get people all upset. Why upset someone for no reason/laughs

The DJs deleted their Twitter accounts quite recently. I could see them 30 minutes ago, and now I can't. They might be awake trying to take care of their PR damage.

Wow, so it's assumed she committed suicide over that? Not making light of the prank, but that's really odd..

I don't think anyone knows why or even if she committed suicide. Just the timing and other factors are leading us to assume.

I could see it. this is why everyone is so worried about internet bullying. this is worse, they made that woman look like a fool in front of the whole world.

That is not a fair statement, and normally I wouldn't say anything, but Internet bullying is something I am passionate about. Worse is relative.

how is this a unfair statement? I agree internet bullying is awful, and this woman basiclly had it done to the tenth power, broadcast on every tv set from here to timbuktu, and reported by every news outlet.

That's what I thought when I heard about it. There must be something else to it, surely. It just seems like an over reaction to a prank. And I know how harsh that sounds.

Apparently the DJs are having a backlash against them in Australia.

I completely disagree. People embarass people, some are more sensitive. This is a worldly gossip issue apparently so I get that it's large. But not bullying, at all.

which is why I could see it. some people are sensitive, to a sensitive person something like this would feel like its going to go on forever, and she'd never live it down. I could see that driving someone very sensitive to killing themself.

It's not bullying though, it's a prank gone wrong. She made a mistake and couldn't live with herself.n
It would be like, to pull from another thread as an example, the photographer of the man getting hit by a train killing himself.
She was ashamed that she was unprofessional in this circumstance and couldn't live with that (obviously I don't know all the facts, other issues, etc, just from what is being reported).
Bullying is a totally different animal.
