Default Minnetonka moccasins

Who has a pair?

I just got the moccasins and I'm crazy about the ankle boots.

The moccasins are a little narrow across the wide part of my foot.

They should stretch out, yes?

I do not have a pair of these, and I have not worn them since I was a child. With that said, from what I remember, moccasins normally do stretch a little. Soft sole normally gives a little more than ones with hard rubber.

I also want to think it was recommended to buy them one size up, but I can not remember for sure. Hand crafted moccasins, and info on how to buy/wear them properly, used to be a large source of income for people, but then stores started buying ones made in other countries to cut costs and keep up with demand. Not that you wanted or needed to know that.

Show us a picture of the moccasins you got!

I don't have any of their boots or moccasins, but I've been wearing Minnetonka leather flip-flops for years and years.

I have a pair, they don't stretch out too much. I don't wear them much though, honestly my heeled ankle booties are more comfy. Plus they get ragged looking really quick.

These things fit HUGE. I'm normally an eight and I fit a six. I bought a 7 because thats all that was left and wear barefoot insoles in them

Those look like the Elk hide ones? If so, I have those. Mine don't fit tight anywhere though. I haven't noticed them stretching, but probably wouldn't since I don't have any pressure points. I would imagine that they might give some. I love mine.

I have a pair of the ankle boots - I sized up, I have wide feet and my normal size were too tight. I really want to buy a pair for my daughter (I love them on little kids), but all the reviews online say that the zippers don't stay up on them and they are too expensive to have to deal with constantly coming unzipped.

That's my problem. I guess I should send them back for a bigger size.

I had a lavendar pair back in 1981 (first summer of day camp). Mine were leather (not suede) and had a rubber sole. I don't remember them stretching.
