Six and a half hours of surgery later, he and his colleagues had dug out small chunks of bone from the woman's eyelid and tissue surrounding her eye, which was scratched but largely intact. The clicks she heard were the bone fragments grinding against one another.

Obamacare is not a blueprint for socialism. You're thinking of the New Testament. ~~ John Fugelsang

Golly who could have thought that stem cell therapy is a fairly new technology that's only approved for the treatment of bone cancer because it carries all sorts of serious risks?

Who could have thought that you shouldn't inject a cocktail of stem cells and materials that encourage those cells to become bone into someone's face?

I'd have hoped that a doctor could have thought of that, but I guess not. Btw rubbing stem cells on your face doesn't do anything, stop doing that.
I saw an article last week or earlier this week about a little girl who had a feather emerge from her cheek. Oy. I didn't finish the article because I about passed out from the title.

I shouldn't have read that while eating.

I don't believe that girl put a feather in her mouth. The most likely explanation is that she was exposed to radioactivity and then came in contact with a sparrow.
Yes! And in the future, she'll be FeatherGirl, Spiderman's nemesis!

On the plastic surgery: Did you all hear about the lethal cement butt injections? And the cocaine breast implants?
I can't even read these things. I'm afraid I'll toss my cookies (politely put). Ugh!!! People are crazy.
