Default Today, in muu-muu news......

As a result of my contracting contact dermatitis from an overuse of borax in my laundry, it has been suggested to me that while at home, I avoid all constricting clothing. "Wear a granny gown," I was told. "Or a muumuu."

I can hardly believe it. I never thought it would happen to me.

The irony! The hilarious, horrible irony of it all.

Not nearly as cool as a Batman snuggie with sleeves, but how about just wearing your robe?

I don't know.....somehow robes drive me crazy, just like granny gowns. If it was warm, I'd just wear a big t-shirt.

Why the hell were you using so much Borax?

Get a dashiki instead of a muu muu. Much cooler!

Well, it seemed to do such a good job of cleaning clothes, and I found the liquid detergent I had a pia, so I just added more borax instead of using detergent. Who knew my skin would go nuts?

I would like a dashiki. Then I could wear a gold toe ring.

Can't you just wear a big flowy long skirt and whatever top is comfortable? You can still do the gold toe ring and tie a long scarf in your hair and be a gypsy.

When my daughter's skin acted up a few years ago, the pediatrician advised loose clothing worn inside-out so the seams were away from her skin. She looked like a homeless orphan.

Maybe just wear the gold toe ring and nothing else.

For some odd reason GC's comment of "wear the gold toe ring and nothing else" brought back a memory of someone here who sunned their girl parts in a window as part of a healing process, maybe it was after giving birth. Does anyone else remember that and who was it?

awww.... now I miss Wonder Diana...

What happened to her?

I vote for snuggies. But the dogs need their own too. I vote that they get batman ones too. Or maybe robin? Ohhh! Ohh! maybe they have a bunch of other superheros and you guys can be a superhero snuggie group.

Oh, I knew this admission would yield rich rewards.

I would go naked, but it's so effing cold here I can hardly stand to remain in my birthday suit while all the lotions, potions, and oils dry on my poor, damaged skin.

I would totally love to have a family Snuggie-Superhero theme! Can you imagine how nuts I would seem if I answered the door with the dogs around me, and we were all dressed alike in Batman Snuggies? It's almost worth the expense, just to rattle the local cops the next time they get something wrong and come to my house to tell me the ambulance is on its way.

Well, actually, now that I think about it..........it is my ambition to avoid the Academy of Laughter for as long as possible........

That was Webjockey, healing her girly parts after birthin' her first baby. I'm sure she'll love knowing you think about her stuff.

Well, technically now it's her stuff since I couldn't remember who said it, but your steel trap came to the rescue!
