This is none of my business-- (SORTA UPDATE)
My next door neighbor keeps getting packages from Omaha Steak. She brings the packages upstairs and leaves them outside her apartment door for days and days. THE PACKAGE SAYS TO TAKE UNPACK THEM RIGHT AWAY BECAUSE THEY'RE PERISHABLE!!!!
I looked at the contents on the box and, indeed, they are all kinds of meat type things.
The last package has been out there for four days now. It's still shrink wrapped so I know she's not opened it.
Why is she doing this? Her food is going to waste! It's none of my business!! Arggg!!!

It's not just empty packaging from steak she has already eaten?
I would sooooo make a joke to her, "uhh, if you don't want these awesome steaks, I will gladly take them off your hands!"

I'd mention it. It'll start to smell eventually.

Maybe you can amplify the sound of Anabelle sniffing them. That should inspire her to bring them inside.

To be fair, they're bound to be vacuum-sealed, and if it's meat products, not just steaks, a lot of them can be left out. I'm talking dry sausages, salami, etc. in this case. She should of course be putting steaks away, because even vacuum-sealed they should still be kept at proper temp.
I'm puzzled why someone wouldn't take that in right away, though.

is she even home?
Is she just walking past them and going in her house?
Maybe she's a hoarder and has no room.

Also, I just looked at that site and I'm side-eyeing it. "Well-marbled"? Uh, no, how about you tell me the grade of that steak instead?

I saw her just yesterday walking down out the front door as I was coming in from walking the dog. But the stuff is definitely still shrink wrapped and unopened. Also, this is just the latest set of Omaha Steaks. She gets them delivered a couple times a month.
Of course, for the two years that I've lived her she's had an orange bucket with a miniature wooden shoe on top and a couple other nicknacks. I thought it was her way of (oddly) decorating.

I don't understand. I think people someone should take her ****. Why wouldn't you take that in no matter what it is, but especially if it's meat?

I've ordered from Omaha Steaks before, and it very clearly says the items should be removed from the box within a certain amount of hours.
Either she's eating rotten food or throwing it away. I'm disturbed by this.
I think I would steal it from her just to teach her a lesson.

I know this is wrong, but I kind of hope someone steals it because leaving it like that is ridiculous. Maybe she thinks ordering from them is an expensive splurge of a thing to do and will look to everyone else like she's livin' it up so she leaves it out to make sure everyone sees it. I'm sure that is the same idea behind a plastic 5 gallon bucket that looks like it came from Home Depot with cats and tiny shoes on top of it.

Maybe she's getting it as a gift (one of those subscription things if she's getting it all the time) and doesn't want it?

i'm hoping she's stable. I cant see a sane person leaving food outside their door even if its non-perisible. and the home depot bucket with knickknacks atop? strange

Am I the only one who finds this hilarious? It's so weird but also can't take this seriously. If my neighbor was like this, I'd start a blog about it.
