my biggest regular waste of money is...

Clothes will always remain #1. I have 2 large closets, 2 small closets, and 3 dressers full of clothing BUT I have cut that down to every 2 or 3 months.

Entertainment. Movies (buying or renting), video games and music. It is weekly.

Nail polish. I can stop any day now. I have more than enough.

Makeup, hair/face/body products and scented candles are a rare buy for me now. Nail polish has taken their place, but when I do buy them, I go all out and stock up.

I pack my own lunch, rarely go out, and rarely drink coffee so I guess it evens out
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

Hey! Target is going to match prices with Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and other online retailers. They apparently did it for the holiday shopping season but are now rolling it out for year-round.

That is exactly what it's like!^

I would say shoes, boots and clothes but I buy good stuff that is useful and classic and will last a lifetime so I am not sure it is a waste of money. BUT I do have way more than I need. The positive thing though is I buy things that I think I really need or will need and if I wait they might no longer be available so it saves me time searching for them later on. But then again, I could always find something similar at the find site later on.

I'm realizing I splurge on almost everything. Like every product caregory.

Other than candles and horses, I think I said "yup" to every single one of all of your splurges.

It's like, "this? oh why the hell not...that? oh why the hell not...the other? oh why the hell not."

I need to stop! But how?

Umm, I'm not sure this counts since its so broad, but for a while I was buying stuff almost daily on Amazon! It's so easy and shipping is free and fast, so it's hard to resist. Usually it IS stuff that we need, but if I was going to the store, I might not restock quite so.. well, thoroughly! Plus, getting boxes in the mail every day makes groceries (or whatever) feel like presents. :hides face in shame:

Oh Dear.. clothes and shoes and jewelry...especially right now when everything is on sale... I'm getting bad about online shopping with amy coupons! Trying to go cold turkey but I really want the pair of black tights from Gap...that are on sale. LOL...

I do have quite a collection of Bare Mineral make-up...with all their cool collections...I find it hard to resist..especially when I get that quarterly 20% off coupon I can use for it at Ulta.

....I will say shopping for kids clothes can be an addiction too....
Kids NEED clothes though! Right? ...right?

And they grow so quickly, you have to be prepared with the next size. Ok, add this to my list of over spending. Sigh.

I'd say shopping, beauty products, clothes, shoes, especially makeup and bags.
I'd also say eating out, lunches, dinners at restaurants ect but sometimes I have to attend certain events for my husband and his colleagues...so I have a lot of dresses/evening gowns and evening bags...although I probably don't need anymore right now.
Going out on the weekends

To be honest I don't think any of those things are a waste of money...
Eating out and movies. But we've started buying the Cineplex tickets at Costco so it's a bit cheaper (and I get my popcorn and drinks for free).

Also probably clothing but its not a weekly expense. :S

I should take transit, but I just can't. I hate taking the bus.
Nail polish is my biggest one. And books. I have a B&N membership so it's cheaper, but I buy a LOT of books--at least one a week, sometimes more. I buy hardcovers instead of waiting for the paperback. I know I could use the library more (and I do get books there, too), but I love being surrounded by books. It makes me happy.

Eating out

Dog food - not saying feeding my dog is a waste of money - he's just an EXCEPTIONALLY picky eater and if he skips more than two meals then he starts throwing up. I'd love to just wait him out "you'll get hungry enough" but he actually makes himself sick, so he knows he has me over a barrel - so I'm constantly trying new ideas of things that he may like

- for any worried parties: we've been to the vet, he's not sick (other than when he makes himself sick by not eating) - it's a spoiled rotten brat behavioral thing - he'll gladly eat MY dinner or a cheeseburger or something like that, just not "HIS" dinner
