Went card shopping today! It aint easy finding a non-lovey dovey card when you don't have a real card shop in town. I will send mine out tomorrow. But we aren't opening them til VDay right?

Jeepy, you're kidding, right? That's like.....leaving a wrapped present around for weeks without opening it, when you know there could be chocolate or new boots in there.

Well, I can't be trusted to wait. I'm announcing that right now.

Mail at time of your choice (whoever you are), but once it arrives, I'm tearing that sucker open.

With my teeth.

I narrowed my choices to two (yes I bought two cards...don't judge me). I will pick one finally tomorrow and mail it out on Tuesday!

I cannot fit boots in the envelope, so, sorry my curly love, all you get is a card!

geez, how much glue do you have to use to stick *stuff* to a card!

i was all set with my card this morning, picked it up to take it with me and one of the rhinestones fell off!

i'm going to put another blob of glue on it and MAKE it stay in place!

Sticky dots are good for rhinestones.

What are sticky dots? Do they really stick? I hate when things don't really stick.

The Official Website of Glue DotsŪ Adhesives-The New way to Glue

There are all sorts! When I was actually making cards a lot (I've been uninspired for some time now) I used them all the time and they work great. My poor card making supplies are so neglected.

Chinese New Year is around the same time as V-Day most years, Thanksgiving is celebrated in different months in Canada and the US and in no other countries, but Halloween would be good.

i think we do fine with birthday acknowledgements here on the forum.
