Your uvula, in all it's forms, has officially killed me.

I am glad you are feeling a little better.

OH, MY! I haven't been able to come back here since this first came up yesterday. Y'all have me really LOLOLOL!! I think I missed a title change between uvula and little grape, though

Thanks - Just what I needed on a beautiful (it's been raining or at least dark and gray for most of the new year) Friday afternoon to start getting me ready for the long weekend!

Thelio, glad you're feeling better , but still hope you're able to figure out the cause.

Yes, definitely punching bag more-so than a grape.

Seriously piercing!! Great I'm sure with the population I work with I'm going to come across this

I wonder if that's a trend amongst fluffers.

Not really.

ok now this is getting wierd. i tried to look it up but saw nothing on it. my uvula is no longer looking like a punching bag! last night i checked on it, and it looked fine. still a bit bigger than i think is normal but alot better.

i woke up this morning and and i could feel it, just figured it was swallon again. i went to checked it out and it wasnt swollen, or at least i wouldnt call it swollen. it was longer! i have no clue how to explain it. i dont know how to describe it! it was really thin and long. wth is that?!?!

my doctors appintment isn't until next week and i feel find. its not blocking my air way or anything. should i try to get to see the doctor early? i'm not even sure if i could since the doctors are on maternity leave and the nurse practioner (who I see) and swarped with patients. has this happened to anyone?

PS: I think its time for a title change.

thelio, I was thinking about you earlier this morning and wondering how you were feeling. I'm glad to know you're doing better. If you feel fine and it isn't blocking your airway or anything, I'd be inclined to wait until the scheduled appointment because, as you said, doctor's offices are really swamped right now. If it starts acting up or interfering with your breathing, get to an ER or Patient First-type facility right away.

This title is better than the last one...."bag" is slightly dirty-sounding. Still not as good as the original title. I give this one a 5.

When I had my tonsils out, my uvula was very swollen afterwards for a long while. It would get 'stuck' in a forward position against my tongue and I'd have to cough or clear my throat to move it back. It was irritating. I remember it looked shorter to me and I kept saying 'they cut my uvula too! Lol. After some time it went back to normal.

Maybe it got irritated somehow or infected if you had a cold or virus. I'd gargle with salt water, but I bet it will go away on its own.

I remember that being incredibly irritating and uncomfortable.
