Oh my WORD.
I think y'all pretty much said what I was thinking. When they started showing the scene at the end with Fitz and Vern I said "He's about to F her up." and sho' nuff. I think it was pretty obvious he killed her as soon as they announced she died.
This show, I love it!

Half way through the scene I figured Fitz was going to kill Verna. What a monkey wrench last night's episode was. Changed everything.
Did get a chuckle out of the scene with Cyrus and husband stripping down and talking in the nude.

I'm not convinced that Fitz killed Verna. What exactly did he do that would constitute murder? He compassionately held the hands of a dear friend as she took her last breaths....
We know what the others did (Harrison-insider trading; Huck-well, he hucked people; Quinn-framed) but do we know Abby's story?

i think Fitz is as scummy as Cyrus, his wife, the VP and Mr. Moneybags.
Olivia is the only one who seems to be okay and yet she went along with rigging the voting machine and stupidly conducted an affair with a married man.
it always shocks me when very smart women do very stupid things...

This made me love Fitz even more.
I think one of the reasons why the adultery doesn't bother me so much is because in the flashbacks Mellie and Fitz seemed to hate each other, but b/c of politics had to stay together.

WOW. Verna told him everything.
He changed his mind about Olivia. Fitz is PISSED. Now he's questioning whether she really did love him or if it was all part of the plan.
Yes. Fitz killed Verna (well, he just hastened her death). I like the way the story is going. MORE DRAMA!!!!!
Verna must've not told him that Mellie was involved...

No, Fitz knew Mellie was involved; hers was the first name he said when asking who knew. He just wasn't surprised by her like he was by Olivia.
Cyrus, man. That guy is awful. Just awful.

I loved that scene. Cyrus' husband cracks me up. "I can't go to jail... I can't be a fugitive. I have asthma and I need to raise my child."
I was surprised that Cyrus really thought about killing his husband. I really thought he was going to have David Rosen shot. I like Cyrus, though I am shocked by what he'll do to keep Fitzgerald in office.
Mellie didn't seem threatened by fitz's affair with Olivia because she probably thought it came with the territory of being a political wife.
I am glad Olivia will get a new love interest. Edison looks too old for her and since she keeps turning him down, she can't be that into him. Harrison is hot but with their history, Liv and he would not be a good match. Fitzgerald tires me so I'm glad she can have a little fun now.

"Nobody like babies" I guess the title says it all. I guess they wanted to kind of acknowledge and respond to the inquiries about the kids.lol
This episode was like Beyonce at the superbowl. Completely snatched me bald (figuratively). I was expecting to be blown away, but not like this. I was enthralled from start to finish. Verna tried to kill the president. Olivia read her for filth. Abby pulled a fast one on David. Cyrus almost killed his husband. Charlie came thru for Cyrus. Olivia rejected Edison's proposal and humbly offered herself to Fitz. And the icing on the cake: Fitz not only killed Verna, but he was so cold.
In my opinion, this isn't the normal Fitz. That brain injury has changed him. The normal Fitz would not have wanted to divorce his wife while he's a sitting president. But the Fitz who escaped death, who realized he has no time to waste, and who also has endured brain trauma- oh he would. The normal Fitz, prior to the brain injury, I have no doubt in my mind that he wouldn't have killed Verna. But the more rash and irrational Fitz, he would.
