As for Tiffany, I like very few Tiffany items, namely the toggle necklace. I had a knockoff version that I lost...grrr...And I love Tiffany blue. But that's about it. They're way too overpriced. Even if I had the money, I doubt I'd buy real Tiffany anything.

I used to wear a Tiffany cross.

I wouldn't know the symbol, but would think the cross probably was very nice! I think Tiffany does classic beautifully, and therefore like it.

In general, though, as much as I may like quality jewelry, I do think Tiffany gets overpriced for what it is. I don't mind spending if value is there (and when I can afford to do so) but I tend to find similar quality without the name from other places and I am as happy with them - plus there are fewer of the items (if any.)

With a gift certificate though - eh, why not?


I don't want to get in a discussion of moderation, as that would get us all in trouble, but I will say the inconsistency in which someone who I think is behaving gets re-banned while others are allowed to return without is part of why I disappear at random from here. I don't foresee any kind of board suicide, but I definitely take breaks out of irritation. (And I don't have anyone in mind who is here and was banned - at the moment no active posters who fit that are coming to mind.)
