What's outside my neighbor's door today?
Mail, her cane, socks and shoes, and, of course, the Home Depot art display.

I find your neighbor genuinely puzzling. How old is she, approximately?

I predict a thread with frequent updates...
Your neighbor reminds me of my mother. There's some amount of dementia or other mental decline involved in my mom's case - I hope your neighbor's ok and just... odd, rather than possibly not suited to living alone.

I have no response to that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0peBq...are_video_user
I can't wait to see what she will have tomorrow!

Have you ever met this person? I'm truly fascinated.

Well I'm happy to see there's no meat lying about.
I will be endlessly entertained by this ever changing art. : )

It seems like she's using it as a garage/closet. I have random junk that I don't get to right away but I put it in the closet/pantry right next my door. I wouldn't leave it out in a public place but hey if it's not getting stolen and providing entertainment to random people on the interwebs, why not?!

You would not believe the anticipation with which I opened this thread. Does she know you take pics of the stuff outside her door? I wonder if she's messing with you/us.

You should light the candle.
(ok, not really because that's dangerous, but I'd love to know what she would do if she came out and it was lit)

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I think you should start leaving random stuff, and moving her other stuff around!

That's what I want to do.
Well actually I want to go to home depot to buy a bunch of orange buckets then stack them outside her door.

I think we’re going to need a photo of that orange bucket display to fully appreciate the current situation.
I know it appeared in another thread, but which … ?

orange bucket! orange bucket! orange bucket!
You should get an orange bucket and put figurines on it, and if she says anything, say you like the idea.

hard to say. I would guess mid-50s but she is heavy and walks with a limp so she could be younger.
