I don't really forget, I know the general area where I park my car but I drive a Mini so it often gets dwarfed by bigger cars so I can't see it. I'm the lady walking down the aisle craning her neck to find my car.

I did once come out and couldn't find my car. It was stolen. That was not fun.

That happened to my Mom. She went around the mall parking lot twice, then called my Dad thinking he was playing a trick on her and had switched cars

I typically won't forget where I've parked unless I'm not driving my car. I was just in Seattle recently and rented a black car. I would look for my red car and be confused until I would realize that I wasn't at home and didn't have my car.

I do it all the time!

Usually it's when I've gotten a really good parking spot... So I end up walking twice as much as I would have if I'd gotten a parking spot further away!

It's very rare that I forget where I park. If I am in a large parking lot I just look at the row number. I'm good after that, and if there is another car in the same vicinity that looks like mine, I just check the back window. I have a Rolling Stones and Devo sticker on mine.

I know a lady that is light years beyond forgetful. She is one of the nicest people you could meet. She will help anyone in need. She is in her early 60's, and talks like Jan from the Muppets. Anywho, she has been known to walk around a parking lot for hours looking for her vehicle. She can be standing right in front of it, and somehow miss it.

One more story. My oldest nephew once went to Colorado with his college friends. One of his friends was from there and his uncle was leaving a black suv at the airport for them, with keys under the drivers side floor mat. They found the unlocked black suv, with keys under the mat, and drove off. The next thing they knew they were being surrounded by cops, and forced off the road. Yep, wrong car. What are the odds? They were free to go when their story was investigated and checked out. Poor boys.

Once, but I didn't technically forget. I just didn't know how the F to get back to my car. It was an underground garage in Los Angeles and apparently had two different entrances/exits/elevators. I didn't know that going in OR going out, so I went down the opposite elevator on my way back to the car and had NO idea what was going on. I eventually figured it out, but it was scary!

'm so bad that I have to park in pretty much the same place. I've thought of attaching a balloon to the antenna. I'm in a rental car at the moment, so I'm really confused. I went to Zipps (a sport's bar) Friday night and my SO & I took my car. Afterwards we were both wandering around trying to find it. I remembered we were in the rental car, so at least I was looking for that, but it ended up that he was looking for my little red VW forgetting we were in the rental car. It was like the blind leading the blind....

I usually look at the aisle or row #, but I will still forget which entrance I've used, so that I wind up wheeling a cart all over the parking lot, looking like a bag lady.

Also, I often take Mia-Mimi with me, so I just look for a car with a dog in the driver's seat. (This does not prevent me from using the wrong exit, though.)

I had a car stolen out of my parking spot at an apartment complex once. I called a detective and he asked if I might have been drinking and parked in a wrong spot. It was in the middle of the week. I did find it and there was no damage, but I was icked out about it. Who knows who had been in my car and what they did.

I think I'm really lucky when it comes to cars. I once left my car running in a parking lot the entire time I was inside a restaurant eating. It was still there when i got out and i only realized what happened when i couldn't find my keys. Don't ask how it happened. I must've been really, really hungry.
