I think this public official has a little too much time on her hands. The term "Negro" isn't offensive, just outdated. Now if it were the other n word, I can understand.

I'm confused. I thought when you said "Seriously?" that you shared LadyV69's view that the official has too much time on her hands.

I definitely think the name should be changed to Nemesis. I honestly don't understand how there could be opposition to this. It just amazes me that there are people like those referenced in the article who think we shouldn't change it because "Negro" is an improvement over what it used to be...

No, my initial meant to express shock that there's actually a place called Negro Mt. It just floors me, esp since I live in Penna and have never heard of it. And the fact the man died protecting his master and they "honor" him this way pisses me off more. I could go on...
