have you ever offended your pet?
Oh dear, I have offended my cat: Jeri gets dry food, hairball treats and then wet food. She also likes a wee bit of milk in the mornings. And just now I plopped her canned food into her dibble of milk instead of on top of her dry food. Good lord. You'd think I'd killed her. She squalled like she was dying. I am certain she used naughty words at me. And then she stomped off and refused to eat it.
Have you ever offended your pet???

I'm not sure if I offend Finlay or not but there are a lot of times it's obvious I've p*issed him off due to my inability to do things "right" I don't mix food correctly, get the dry food to canned food ratio wrong, choose the wrong treat. The look I get is more along the lines of "why are you so stupid" rather than anger, but he marches off to his kennel to show me he is unimpressed. Lol

All the time, she's very easily offended. She's very particular about touch. She will not touch certain fabrics. She doesn't like to be touched right after a bath, or on her tail and hip area. She also hates it when you talk while she's trying to sleep. She'll thump her tail at you until you shut up.

My dog is *very* docile. You can pry open his mouth and pull food/whatever he is chewing right out, and he doesn't get angry or snippy, but he looks SO offended when you do it. Just sits there with these big sad eyes looking at you like, "WHY would you DO that to me?????"

Hazel usually gets dry food in the morning and wet food at night. The times when I've left dry food out for her all day because I would be away from home for extended periods, she looks at me like I'm crazy and the food goes untouched. There have been times that I've fed her wet food at midnight for this reason.

It's hard to offend my own dogs, but I have offended my BFF's little dog. I had the hiccoughs with slight burps once when she was sitting on my lap, and she looked up at me with an expression of disgust and horror.
Poor little Pixie. I set her down after that.

Calvin is pretty easy going, but most likely it happens on a daily basis. He just ignores me.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Not that I recall. But then, my (dearly departed) cat didn't live long enough to see me watching "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
She would have disapproved. I can just picture her withering gaze. Totally deserved.

I have to say even at her young age I have offended Jade. I got pretty disgusted and gave me a "will you shut up" look when I was on the phone while she was in my lap. She finally got up, looked back at me (cutting her eyes) and went to sleep on my bed.

When I come home after petting another dog, Sheba acts like I've been cheating on her.

Pita acted offended and looked at me with disgust pretty much every day for 11 years. I just loved that about her. : )

We keep Kimi away from the food dish when we feed our two kitties so that Mojo has a chance to eat without Kimi pushing him out of the way and eating everything.
She looks so put out when we do that. Get's this wide eyed look that just says - "I thought you LOVED me! YOU TRAITOR!"
So.... yeah. Mojo's pretty hard to offend and I don't think I'd notice if I did - he always has this peeved expression because of how his eyes are shaped.

Oh Gawd yes.
My tom is very laid back. If and when I happen to offend him his eyes get huge, he gives me a look of total shock and dismay (why you do that?) and runs.
His sister is hell on wheels, but thats why I love her. She is offended by his existence and sometimes mine. She stomps around, huffs and puffs, growls, hisses, screeches... All that good stuff. If I give her the wrong food or stop petting her too soon, she lets me know about it. When she is really mad she threatens to slap me. That doesn't go over well. Lol. She is a fuzzy toddler.
I can't stand it when their feelings are actually hurt or they are upset, though. They will have nothing to do with me for 2 weeks after a move.
Now my moms cat, which is my cats sister, takes the cake. She will rub up against your legs, look up at you lovingly, and hiss. She has some wires crossed, but she is hysterical.

Yup. If I'm petting my dog Linda and I just stop, she turns around and stares at me until I get the hint. Otherwise she leaves. Or if I don't pet her first thing when we wake up everyday, she looks at me like I've personally offended her. And my parrot starts screaming if I'm in the kitchen getting food and I don't offer her any -__- and my beloved Coco (tragically taken from me by a hit and run driver) who would growl at me when I would attempt to take him out of my mom's bed. - RIP
I used to have 5 dogs and a parrot, the stories go on and on

I'm sure I have before with a cat I lived with for a while(brother's cat) but reading these stories make me smile. So cute. I love cats' personalities.

My cat lives at my parents house. I always sing to her (in the tune of Akon's whose that girl) "who's that caaaat up, up in the house, up up in the house.." she was sleeping today and looked right at me with her ears bent back and went to the basement and sat at the bottom of the stairs until I coaxed her back. She sat with me, but was not happy about it:
Now she is sitting right on my leg sucking up

AH! My sister-in-law's cat, Echo, will smack you if you offend her (usually by picking her up). She won't use claws, but she'll give you that "I'm gonna smack you!" look, and if you don't comply to her wishes, she'll reach up one of her paws and slap your cheek.
It's hilarious.
I've pissed her off on purpose because it amuses me to get smacked by a cat.
