Just saw Gigi's video. So what was Darcy's plan? Just wander around OC hoping to run into Wickham?
I still can't imagine how this is going to be fixed.

Poor lydia
One thing that's bothering me, as much as I like getting info from Gigi's videos, there's a part of me thinking "This is a demo for work, Gigi! I don't think this is an appropriate topic of conversation!"

Yeah, I have to use suspension of disbelief there. I think. I hope I'm using that term correctly. :/

Has anyone else noticed that GiGi and Darcy have like... The same exact nose? How did they manage that?
I don't know why I noticed their noses specifically. They just look so much alike!

And their coloring in general. I'm glad to see an adaptation where Georgiana looks like she did in my head. My understanding of her book description is that she's 16, but pretty much grown in height and form. Most actresses who play her are slim, delicate, and still somewhat childlike in appearance. I suppose it makes it easier to convey the whole 'deluded girl' aspect of her, but she looked more adult in my head.

I think it's crazy how related they all look. The Darcy's of course look crazy similar, and so do the Bennets- Jane especially looks like she's related to both sisters.

i think the sisters arent overly similar, but just enough that i wonder if they maybe are realted somehow. I also wonder if that is their natural hair color. how did they find three good actresses, with red hair, who resembles one another without them being related?

None of them look like natural redheads.
I'm all caught up. Sigh. Now I have to wait it out with the rest of you.

I love that this thread brought this to my attention! It has made the past couple of days much more enjoyable! I'm slowly catching up between class periods and such (I'm just up to Episode 39).
On the whole Wickham/Lydia thing (from book), I feel like part of it is because he realized Lizzie's feelings toward Darcy were softening so part of it was a smidge of revenge. That plus sex, which Lydia was obviously offering up (though not entirely knowingly, she is a determined flirt, but a totally naive one). I dunno, it could be me inferring quite a bit. It's been a bit since I last read the book but I did rewatch the A&E interpretation just last week. Wickham is also aware of the Bennet's family connections, namely that there is one uncle who is a solicitor and one who is a successful businessman so knew that though Mr. Bennet may not have the money to pay Wickham's debts, they'd find a way to do so.
I love the LBD Lydia. She is so clearly the younger daughter. She may not be as nice as Jane, or as smart as Lizzie so she gets attention by being what her sisters are not, loud, exuberant, and quite popular, but like a lot of teen girls confuses dating around and being super current with pop culture with being popular. I think she's totally adorable and just reluctant/unwilling to grow up and mature. She also may not know how to do so and be her own person at the same time.

I am thinking how completely and utterly pathetic I am that I eagerly await a video that lasts 2-6 min. For a story that I more or less know the ending to.

I don't think he saw revenge against Darcy as an issue. He didn't know how Darcy felt, and Lizzie's softening wasn't enough to make on think of love. Her aunt and best friend didn't see it in her, though they saw it in him.
Lydia was convenient. She was poorly chaperoned and more than willing. Her being a Bennet was a coincidence, though one needed to move the plot forward.

I was just thinking yesterday how a roughly five minute video is something I eagerly await every day.
