Actually my title said to all those who apply so if you feel like you applied then thats that. It was geared to negative comments. Grammar nazi mode go for it. This is not english or grammar 101 nor is it a mid term paper. I am a confident and positive gal. Nothing can bring me down. especially not a stranger. If i am taking what you wrote abt the grammar out of context i apologize in advance.

THANK YOU for explaining. To avoid issues i have no prob with taking it down as i said it really was to thank these women for making the site interesting if i had the slightest idea it was gonna be taken less than that i wouldn't have written it. Honest.

That makes perfect sense.
Sometimes it's impossible to know when you'll walk into a hornet's nest on this site. I think we've all done it (and if that's too general, I'll go ahead and clarify: heaven knows I've done it). The "peeing in the pool" debacle comes to mind, as does "Uncrustables."
We're a touchy bunch, sometimes.

Threads like this are destined to go sideways from inception. It started "going berzerk" before she deleted the OP. Though, I'm not clear on what your definition of "going berzerk" is here. I don't think it truly went "berzerk" at all--not in comparison to some threads here. The OP kind of went "berzerk" when she discovered that people didn't want to play along. Derailed? Yes.
Besides, just because the OP deletes the OP doesn't mean that the thread is just going to suddenly die...the tangential conversations often continue for a fashion and eventually just trail off. It's normal.
