It's frou frou martinis and cosmos for me. No champagne because I tend to do very silly things (like reuniting with an ex last NYE, well not really reuniting, more like hooking up) and it is the only form of alcohol I seem to get hung over from.

We'll be ringing in the New Year with a nice bottle of a wonderfully sweet Italian Moscato we brought back from Italy when we moved.

SO and I had this sparkling pear cider stuff given to us as a Christmas gift. It turned out to have a very low alcohol content but that was OK; we'd had so much to drink over the past week (way too many Christmas gatherings) that it felt good to take it easy for a change.

I drank amaretto sours and vodka sours, but all of that sweet and sour made my tummy hurt -- I didn't drink enough for it to be the alcohol!

Mee too. It's a Stoli cosmo or it's a hangover for sure, no cheap vodka for me.

We had a couple Miller Lite's while playing Hearts. Started the evening with a Tom & Jerry (which was very good), and ended the evening with a small glass of cheap champagne. Champagne doesn't agree with me so I only drink enough to bring in the new year.

i had some very odd punch with large chunks of fruit in it (lemons, limes, oranges). some said it tasted like gummy worms. i was served out of a very large plastic moving bin. which i found odd, but it worked well.
