so after seeing dateline do you think he's guilty or not? i sort of think he is (just like i felt in the beginning). it just doesn't make sense seeing the schematic of the house and how it happened and him being on his stumps and never hearing reeva but shooting and shooting so many times. i know she had to have screamed at least once. why wouldn't that stop him cold in his tracks? i think he's lying, he killed her. he probably feels bad but he did. the story about the abusive relationship with the ex, how other people say he would rage out and all that just makes me think he's got a bad temper problem and he took it too far. just because nobody has come forward to say reeva was being abused (yet) doesn't mean she wasn't. often early on in a relationship nobody knows it's not peaches and cream, unfortunately for her it ended tragically without obvious warning to those who could have helped her.

they did say even if he was trying to murder the intruder he could get 15 to life so if by some chance he convinces people he wasn't trying to kill reeva, he could still go to jail for the fact that he tried to murder what he thought was a burglar. you can't just murder people no matter what the reason. shoot to stop them, to protect yourself but not to kill...you just can't do that!!

During the Dateline show, some of the SA reporters suggested Reeva was Texting an old boyfriend, who was just a friend, minutes before her death. I think Oscar isn't in his right mind and never has been. I think he shot her because he was jealous. He probably does feel remorse, but he did shoot someone's daughter for a stupid reason, so he should do time, though I do feel bad for him.

20/20 did a story on him last week also. One guy told the interviewer that in South Africa you can shoot someone to protect yourself if you are in imminent danger, but only in that case. He seemed to think that even if Oscar was telling the truth he would probably still could be found guilty of negligent homicide because if there was an intruder but he/she was behind a locked door, then by Oscar's own words he wouldn't be considered in imminent danger.

I hate to convict someone on looks but he has that "cocky Joe Cool" attitude about him, like he feels he is above everyone and everything.
