I knew daniel would win. he only plays in movies where he got a shot at an oscar. or as a favor to martin scorsese (which is still always has a shot at an oscar)

he could had played margret thatcher.
He's probably tired. Me too.
Joaquin Phoenix is being a *******.
Hugh Jackman should have won that, no offense to DDL.

Nice to see Michelle Obama's bangs come out tonight.

Don't care Beasts of the Southern Wild was really good.

I was hoping Jennifer Lawrence or Quevenzhane Wallis would win. They both did a really good job. Silver Linings Playbook and Beasts of the Southern Wild were excellent.

Bradley Cooper also did a good job, but I almost think he was being himself.

Sad about my boo Hugh Jackman.

i'm really glad its over though.
actually, the Oscars used to nominate 10 movies back at the beginning of the awards, i'm not sure when they cut it to 5.

and, thank you, Ben Affleck for acknowledging the role that my country played in the successful ending to the Iranian incident - too bad you gave Ambassador Taylor such short shrift in your movie.

What kills me about McFarlane is that he's so smart and funny in interviews but his work is always such a mess.

I did notsee Argo, Lincoln, or Life of Pi Saw the others though.

I think Life of Pi was nominated.

as much as i like Kristen Chenoweth, that would have had me running for The Governor's Ball and i would have roped the first waiter i saw to ask for a bottle of champagne and a straw!

It is hard to name a 2012 movie that I did not see. Argo deserved the win, but I think Wreck It Ralph should have won instead of Brave; but then again, the Academy has a lover affair with Pixar.
I ain't thirsty. There's plenty of fish in the sea, but I don't want all of them, can I have some standards? Or do we just have to settle, for someone's who meh and will do.

I slacked on watching the nominated movies this year. I saw Beasts of the Southern Wild, Anna Karenina, Brave and *Skyfall (it just had the song nom)*. That's it. I wanted Anna Karenina to win for costume design. I was blown away by the clothing, but other than that I reserved my judgement. I hope to watch several of the other movies soon.

i think the best oart of the night was when charlize danced with that stripper dude and when harry potter and JGL danced and singed. Oh JGL, i swooned!
Favorite dresses: Jennifer Garner and Naomi Watts

I liked the back of Anne Hathaway's dress but the nipple situation took away from everything else.

I was disappointed with Kerry Washington's choice of dress.

Not impressed with Seth.

Oddest looking pairing of the night: Charlize Theron and Dustin Hoffman.

Jennifer Hudson was amazing.

Adele looked the best she has ever looked.

Glad Christoph won.

Glad Argo won because I think Ben Affleck has taken a beating from Hollywood over the years and I personally have always liked him.

Why didn't they have someone helping the women up the stairs like they do at many of the other award shows? I hope after Jennifer Lawrence's trip they realize they could have prevented that embarassment for her.

Eres o te haces?
I already don't like Brandi Granville, and her dress at the Oscars only solidifies my thoughts. She really needs some attention. Geesh.

i totally forgot that they use to nominate 10 films. i think the movies back them were worthy of the nominations. movie quality has gone down hill over the years. i know for me the increase of best films is not needed. did the hangover really deserve that recognition? i dont think so!

i think ben affleck is a better writter/director then actor. gone baby gone was amazing! when i saw it i knew this was what he was meant for. i think matt is the better actor and the two of them could make hollywood a better place.

when more jennifer fell i lost my breath! she recovered nicely. it reminded me of my college graduation when this dude fell walking across stage, everyone stood up and gave hom a standing ovation kinda like jennifer lawrence got.

my sis said k-stew looked high.
I've been thinking about this and I have a theory. I think the goal that they give Oscar hosts nowadays is not possible to achieve. They pick bitingly sarcastic people with dark humor (nothing wrong with that style btw) and then ask them to be respectful but funny. The chosen host doesn't know how to balance that so it is always awkward. The audience is not a crowd that likes to be made fun of. They ask the hosts to be edgy but then, for instance, tell them that the show will look back at musicals all night. They want them to bring in a young audience while balancing the older audience interests while being funny and entertaining to both groups. That sounds like an impossible order to me.

I really like the color of Jennifer Garners dress but I can not go along with the back. I tried, but I won't let me.
