...If you can dig up a link, can you post it here if possible? I can only get on here from my phone and the search didn't pull up that particular thread. I remember it being very informative. Thanks in advance.

Ok here's another question:

Does anybody know of any sales or coupon codes for the Lunette? Why do they have to be so EXPENSIVE??!! Sh*t!!!

I have a Mooncup that I tried once, but I bought the wrong size and I HATE how thick the rim is. I gave it a test run while NOT on my period, which I guess wasn't the best idea.

I'm debating whether to try it again (it's softened up a lot since I boiled it a couple of times) or use a bit of my tax return windfall and try a Lunette.

ETA: Upon further research, the best resource for possible sales seems to be Facebook's Lunette page. Gladrags.com has free shipping always on their cups. I found a coupon code on FB for Gladrags that expired.....last night. banghead:

They are expensive. The good news is you make up for it fairly quickly.

I found this- not sure if it helps.

I can't believe I just dropped $40 on a little silicone cup

I just hope it works. I had read the cup comparison charts a long time ago and thought that the Lunette would be best.

I hope it comes before my period does......

Warning: Possible graphic content ---

So my Lunette arrived yesterday and I now, uh, have it in/on/installed.

My period is juuuuust beginning...at the point where I feel a bit crampy and there's a touch of pink on the tissue when I wipe.

Insertion was a bit tricky but still way better than the Mooncup. I can get it in a lot better when I'm on my back with legs up, but I made sure to make myself learn how to take it out while standing, because I sure can't lie down at work, lol.

There appears to be a good seal and as far as I can tell, the cup is opened all the way in there. I am VERY petite and VERY umm, tight and can barely get my fingers in there to check....

I did one practice removal, which wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. Removal of the Mooncup was bad enough that I wouldn't try anymore. So, I'm pleasantly surprised and also relieved about that.

The only thing is, I can constantly feel it. Not pain or anything, but I'm constantly aware of it. It sorta feels like it wants to slide out but, again, I checked and it's in there pretty firmly.

Does anyone else have that issue? Is it something that I'll get used to? I've already tried to get it up further but there's just not enough room in there and my hands are just too damned small.

I'd try and remove it again but all that activity starts to feel.....raw. At least until I can get to the store for some lube....

Yeah, I was pretty hyper-aware of it until my period became a more steady flow. Even then, there is always a "presence known" field, even if I didn't always "feel" it constantly.

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.

No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

Does it get to where you just don't notice it as much?

As I move around the house, I notice that I can barely feel it if I lie down. But standing up??? I find myself unconsciously Kegel-ing all the time.

When I took it out earlier, there was...ugh...."stuff" in it and no leakage, so I know I'm getting it right.

I just wish I could get it in higher but I not sure I can. Oh well, it will become easier.
