Gadget ideas for mother's bday

I need to buy or order something TODAY for my mother's birthday. She is going to be 71, I think.

She is not hi-tech and she has EVERYTHING she needs.

She is retired and stuck at home most of the time bc my father is disabled.

In the past, I have gotten her gadgets and fun gimmicky things to make life at home easier/more fun -- DVD player, portable DVD player, digital camera, old fashioned looking radio/CD player, single serve Kuerig coffee maker, sushi making kit, Netflix subscription, book set, audio books, etc.

These seem to go over well and I need some more good suggestions of similar things that I could mail today or order.

I have gotten her jewelry and robes and workout clothes, wallets and pajamas, too. But I think the gadgets and homey things work out better.

I think tablets and e-readers would go unused bc they are too high tech and she already has a laptop she feels semi-comfortable with.

What else fun and easy and somewhat useful is out there? Maybe something related to food, cooking, caring for clothing, maintaining the house, for the car, for entertainment? Help!

my mom is a bit younger (67) but really wants a subscription to Acorn TV (it's like $30 for the year or something) http://acornonline.com/acorntv.aspx?&EID=TopLink

My mom is also English, so she loves the idea of English TV.

how about something like a heated mattress pad?
soda stream?

ETA: does her grocery store offer delivery? maybe pay for that service for a period of time

a roomba??

Can anyone say if the cheaper espresso/cappucino makers work well? Or do they need to be of the expensive variety to do a coffee shop-like job?
