Why can't men find things?

I don't know but I'm terrible at finding things. I get it from my dad. bf and exes are better than me and one is just really good.
How strange. All my brother's are the finders in their relationships. I think they get that trait from my father, who remember exactly where he put everything and knows if you breath on his tools. I'm the same way. My mom, however...loses EVERYTHING!

I lost my keys the other day. I spent hours looking for them. He found them in 10 seconds.

My mom, however, lost her keys on a yearly basis never to be seen again most of the time. I'm staying with them right now (at first it was because someone hit my car who was uninsured and my tags were expired, so driving to my apartment (30 minutes away from work) was asking for a ticket...then I had a seizure and "can't" drive for 3 months...which means I drive less than a block to and from work from my parents house) and tell my mom that if she's going to use my keys to move or take my car to the store or something, she has to always put them back in my purse. I only got 1 set of keys with my car and never got duplicated because they're chipped and cost megabucks to get a duplicate. So if she "loses" my keys, I'm hosed to the nth degree.

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.

No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

He had to walk to work in the cold because of it. I think it might have been raining that morning too. He also wouldn't joke about something that would cost us a fortune.

But some of the instances where say the remote was found in weird places like the bathroom. I wouldn't put it past him. I just asked him, he said no because we're all pretty competent in that department. But I'm not sure if I believe him, either that, or I just put the idea in his head.
This is a constant source of amusement/vexation in my relationship as well.

SO and I just got back from a trip. One evening he called me over to help him move the king-sized bed. I wandered over and found him laying across the floor next to the bed, reaching behind the headboard, trying to plug something in to the outlet there -- and not having much luck.

I asked him why moving the entire bed was necessary, seeing as there was a completely open and unobstructed outlet approximately 8 inches from his ass. He really didn't have an adequate response. "I just didn't see it," is the usual reply. Yeah, no ****.
