Does anyone have a good resource for learning more about the Affordable Care Act? Other than the one by the government.

I have a friend who owns a small business, with 80 full-time employees. He truly believe the ACA will bankrupt his business. When he calls his senators to ask questions, they just guide him to the .gov document online.

You can read it. Highly recommend it.

Also can look it up on some think tank websites. Brookings and Center for American Progress are liberal, The Heritage Foundation is conservative. Also Congressional Budget office is a non-partisan source. Search "PPACA and small businesses. " CBO is a great second choice if you do not want to read the law.

Just wanted to add PPACA will kill his company if he does nothing. It does compel small businesses to cover their employees insurance to some degree or pay hefty penalties insurance coverage is typically cheaper than the penalties.
